Ever since the WKU game people have been predicting 10win seasons or even an undefeated season. Guys the problems that plaqued us last year are still here and that is a lack of quality at the skilled positions ie: QB, OL. In CLK's first year we have corrected lack of depth at RB, DB, LB but still have a long way to go. It is not CLK's fault that we do not have a QB that could not start for a non BCS school much less the SEC. That blame goes to the former regime. Before you bring up Boyd from last year may I remind you he has not started any games and is unlikely to do so this year, so that would be no help to us. A rebuilding program takes at least 2 yrs before you begin seeing fruits of your labor.

I know the anti-Kiffins and Fulmerites are out in force today so all I can say is get use to it. They have been waiting on this all year. The thing for the true fans to do is realize not to get too riled up over these fans and to not over expect greatness the first year. The fall from greatness did not happen over night. The former regime had been losing ground with the rest of the SEC for yrs. Do not expect the rise to take place overnight.

Great post....we knew it would not happen overnight. It will take time to rebuild and this staff is just what we need. We will still do better than last year's record and I think go to a bowl game. Bring in another quality class and next year it really starts to show.

I don't know anybody who has predicted more than 9 wins, which was generous, unless they were completely joking. Sorry to say, I'm already boarding the Next Year Bus, but I'll as happy as anybody for any wins we get this year. I'll focus the rest of this year watching the player's development on every position except safety and QB.
