Getting Autographs

So tomorrow I’ll be bringing my 9 year old son to his 1st Vols game. He is excited and wanted to know how he could get some autographs from players if possible either before or after the game. He has met JG, Darrell Taylor and Bituli before but it wasnt before or after a game at Neyland. Since we have told him we taking him to game tomorrow all he has talked about is wanting to meet some more players and getting more autographs. Does anyone have any ideas on maybe how I can get him in position for him to maybe get a couple autographs either before or after the game?

After the game wait by the bus outside of gate 20. When they come out of the tunnel they sign autographs.

RGate 21 is where you want to be at. Jennings and Callaway come out gate 20. Those are the only big names that come out that gate. They walk throu the concourse to get out. Bituli is usually one of the last ones out. Taylor had signed 1 time all year. He usually has his kid with him. He'll come out and bline it to a car. Gurantano is super nice. All of the players will sign except taylor and trey smith

I met JG and Trey outside of gate 20 but I’m sure they come out of both.

Will college athletes, including football players, now be able to charge for their autographs? IMHO, this will force a disconnect between players and their fans. It will open up the potential for massed cheating. It will cheapen and destroy the game.

The great thing about college sports is that you could be in class, sitting next to a Peyton Manning, an all time great who turns out to be just another guy.

The University still has control over its own property, if our players now or in the future want to start charging for the autograph or photo etc. they should not be allowed to do so on campus-unless the purchase a vendors permit at full cost.

Those days are almost gone, the NCAA has caved, college football will be nothing more than minor league ball once the $$$$ START flowing, in the open, in your face. Not only will it cheapen the game, it will corrupt the game, quickly. By corruption, I mean just that-corruption. The amount of money that changes hands weekly based on NCAA games is just to big.

I didn't want to read this and don't want to believe it. I would hope they would sign a autograph for a kid.
