I see 3-9. Maybe 4 or 5 wins with some luck. Otherwise, I see a long season in Lexington.

Y'all also failed to mention that Bray was essentially playing with a bum thumb on his throwing hand too. He wasn't the same QB for Candy and Ky that he was earlier in the year. That still doesn't excuse the loss. UT should've won it fairly comfortably if they come to play. They acted like they would rather be anywhere else than in Lexington that day. I've seen some other UT teams go through the motions against Ky, but they were so talented it didn't matter. UT didn't have the talent last year to get away with that.

Bobby Petrino will be your coach if the Joke doesnt win at least 6 games. And Im guessing if Petrino is interested I suppose no win total is safe for the Joke.

UT needs to get over the loss last year...seriously...

That being said...

3-9 or 4-8

No way dude. We don't forget any loss let alone one to such an inferior opponent. The only Thing I am glad of is the streak came to it's end in a down year. Sure wouldn't want to break in a SEC title hunt.

Then that's sad. Accept it and move on. I'm sure there are plenty of UK fans that rub it in all the time, but UT fans have to plenty of things to think of other than one bad game. If you spend all your time thinking of one loss, then you have the wrong mindset. Losses like that are bound to happen every once in a while (27 years).

That being said, UK will get their asses whooped in UT this year. I laughed at the homers predicting a 50 point win by the Vols last year. I'm not so quick to laugh this year.

Like I said we remember every loss. That one just came more sting than most because of what was involved. Humiliating. I don't care about fans rubbing it in. I am sure after 26 years they would just breathe a sigh of relief.

It wasn't humiliating. Vols had underachieved the entire year, and were clearly not having a good season (by their standards). I know all the homers here and in tennessee were crushed by the loss, but no need to kill yourself over it. Believe me, the pain kentucky fans felt loss after loss after loss was ten times worse. The streak was lucky to get to 26 as it is.

I'm done proving my point. Good luck next year and in the upcoming season.

If anyone predicted a 50-point win last season, it must have been an early-September post. Had the game been in Week 2, 50 points would be a stretch, but it would have been a blowout.

If anyone said that with a straight face after Week 3, they were watching UT play with too much Jack.

I am so tired of KY Athletics over the past year that I hope everyone from Knoxville, TN to Kent, OH brings the pain. By KY's standards for sports, 2011-12 must have been very close to 2006-07 for Florida. To KY, beating UT was the 'national title.'

As for Petrino, why not? They may as well sell their souls in two sports. Why stop with basketball?

Mitch hates Petrino - has since he was at UofL. As for Cal he's an easy guy to make assumptions about but he does a lot of good for people without cameras around. I'm proud to have him as my coach - now I don't expect many folks around here to take that seriously but that isn't keeping me up at night either.

I won't argue with what he does with the sausage. It's about how people perceive the sausage to be made, based on his prior stops.

And I honestly do understand that but he really goes out of his way at times to make it about other people which I think speaks to good character.

So did (and does) Bruce. But, that didn't stop him from blatantly flipping illegal hamburgers when highly-regarded recruits were on the line and then lying about it.

I really liked BP - still do I hear him on the radio occasionally and I wish he could have stayed - he made the SEC better.

*cough* DUKE *cough* how long has it been since that loss? Yet a large portion of the UK fans feel the need to raise hell over a
Commercial about it.

So true.
I thought the 1998 comeback in the Elite Eight over Duke was supposed to erase the '92 "demons."
Yet, to this day, UK fans who aren't even old enough to remember 1992 hate Duke over that one game.

If we win the next 20 football games against KY, we'll all be angry over the one ridiculous game that kept the streak from reaching 47.

Anyone see 6 wins on the schedule?
Optimist: 7-5 (Joker buys himself 1 more year – maybe two if they finish with 8 wins)
@ Louisville = loss
Kent State
WKU
MSU = loss
Vandy
Samford
@ Tennessee = loss

Realist: 4-8(Joker is fired, UK hires EscapeGoat)
@Louisville =still a loss
Kent State
WKU
Samford

For the record I think they win the above 4 games and steal one from the following: Vandy/UT/MSU finishing at 5-7 and getting a new coaching staff next year.
= bwahahahahaha

uk will be 3-9 next year...book it.
