Couldn’t possibly care less. Bring those a-holes on. I think Freeze would be the best hire and be worth the 15 minutes of criticism our irrelevant program would get. If we don’t hire Freeze somebody else will, namely Alabama if Locksley, as expected, moves on to a head coaching job. Just get better imho and don’t worry about what anybody says.
I think most of us don't give a crap what the "national pundits" say. All they want to do is sensationalize anything they can. They lost all credibility in criticizing our fan's outrage over the Schiano fiasco. We were right. Saban wanted to hire Freeze and would have if Sanky had not dissed it, but no fallout for Bama. That's all the argument you need to make--double standard by media.
What he actually did is really not that big a deal (at least not in my mind)... It's basically between him and his wife. Now, the way he has (and continues to) put his religious faith on display will leave him open to some ridicule... If you can get past that, you should be able to see that what he was guilty of shouldn't cost him his career. He will get another chance somewhere... so why not here? We aren't a military academy. We don't have an honor code or anything. We can give a man his second chance.
