Get Over It...

People can bash all they want but I want to ask a serious question. Based on what we just saw against SC, does anyone think we can beat Vandy and Kentucky? I cannot believe I would be asking that but both of those teams worry me now.

After watching us against Alabama I was concerned. I am downright worried now and fully expect 1 or 2 more losses this year.

Can't get over losing to to SC. Made another no name freshman QB look like a damn all American. Muschamp completely out coached Jones. Everyone and their brother knows that the o line SUCKS and Dobbs is not the answer anymore.

On a positive note, the Vols "should" be bowl eligible after next week

Butch aint goin' anywhere. Agree or not. Changes will need to be made at seasons end. Until then, support these kids who play their asses off, despite being in bad situations. And lay it on the line. I hope to hell we make a good bowl. Honestly, with inconsistencies in coaching ive seen, miscues, injuries (S&C), offensive play calling and defensive play calls. THESE kids deserve better. Go Vols.

I don't know if you watched tonight but there was 0 emotion. That's on the kids but my lord, how does a coach allow his team to come out that way game in and game out? He needs to go.

im a huge Butch fan. but a realist, so be it. 0 excuses. until then.

He's had 4 years to get this program where it needs to be. He's slowly improved it, but tonight was a huge setback. He finally beat Fla, beat UGA on a Hail Mary, and lost to a horrible team tonight that he should've beaten. A good coach doesn't lose that game tonight with or without injuries. Once his talent is watered down, he has to actually outcoach someone. He couldn't.

I've seen all I need to see. UT will never win a national title under Butch and he'll need Saban to retire or some unbelievably good luck to ever win a SEC title.

The key to beating us is to run blitz and stop the run. Dobbs isnt accurate enough to consistently beat you in the "throw up game"

I definitely agree with this statement. With what talent we have no excuse. Our guys have been under utilized and way under coached. CBJ has to change alot of things if he plans to take us further.

Yea the truth of the matter is Butch isn't going anywhere for another year or two. But surely Butch has come to the realization that he needs to hire a new O line coach. And possibly a new S/C coach. At the minimum. I'm not sure he will give up on Debord. We also need a true QBA Coach. Time to start spending money on proven assistant coaches

If he loses to Ky, Mizzou, or Vandy, his seat will be on fire for next year. Believe it.

I got roasted this summer for saying if Butch loses 4 games with this team, he'd be on the Hot Seat. The general consensus was "Bane him!"

My my, how the tide has turned.

i for one love the offense. it is unstoppable when other teams run it against us.

DeBords "offense" if that's what you want to call it has never been good. Never in his entire coaching career. I knew it was a bad decision the second I heard his name. Not in today's world of football.

He will never win an east title, much less sniff at a national title
