Butch aint goin' anywhere. Agree or not. Changes will need to be made at seasons end. Until then, support these kids who play their asses off, despite being in bad situations. And lay it on the line. I hope to hell we make a good bowl. Honestly, with inconsistencies in coaching ive seen, miscues, injuries (S&C), offensive play calling and defensive play calls. THESE kids deserve better. Go Vols.

Butch replaced his OC D.C. and S&C when he had to. Now I'm hoping he does the right thing again by dumping his system and cleaning house on offense. He's starting over at QB and RB anyway. That's my only hope. He isn't going anywhere but maybe the dweebs on the hill will screw the renovations and actually go pay for asst coaches.

According to Butch's last cryptic statement from his presser, there seems to be some players not "giving their all".

Changes have been made the last two years. Changes set you back another year or two. I'm not a fire Butch guy but changes have already been made. Those changes either work or he has to live with those failures which will ultimately mean he loses his job because he chose wrong, or the options he had were limited. They either work or not. You only get so many do overs.

Which means some players are not buying in to the system. If this is true then it is the beginning of the end.

Too late for that, either they right the ship or we founder. We already made the changes he thought needed, he will have to live and die by those decisions and ride it out. A coach that has to fire someone every year at some point quickly runs out of viable options.

Didn't read the entire OP but the first part I agree. Jones is not going anywhere.

And neither is UT.

People can bash all they want but I want to ask a serious question. Based on what we just saw against SC, does anyone think we can beat Vandy and Kentucky? I cannot believe I would be asking that but both of those teams worry me now.
