Can't tell you how tired after just a few hours the hate for Butch Jones and Vonn Bell has gotten.
No Butch Jones wasn't able to reel in Bellamy, EJ, Bell or Lawson, so what. We got off to a very late start because of the previous coaching staff. UT hasn't been good for several years now, and recruits realize that. Butch Jones came in here with many saying he couldn't recruit in the SEC. He came in here, built his staff and hit the recruiting trail. Got some of the top recruits in the country to open up their recruitment more and come visit Tennessee. We weren't even being considered by these players before, and Coach Jones got them to visit the campus and they raved about it. In the end it was too late, not enough time to sway them. Still the impression we left upon them will stand out, the rave reviews about the campus, coaching staff, facilities will be read by other recruits in 2014, '15, '16. Even though he didn't get Bell, EJ, Lawson he still brought in some great prospects like Jenkins, North and Dobbs and in a short amount of time. Butch Jones did this in months, imagine what he can do in a year with local names like Evan and Elliot Berry, Todd Kelly Jr and Jalen Hurd.
As for Vonn Bell, he was a Vols fan and loved UT. He loved the orange and white, raved about our school, and his heart told him to go here. We were excited for him to be a Vol, but he picked Ohio State. For those that are persecuting him as a bad kid, a backstabber, wishing injury upon him and other ridiculous things I have heard on here really need to get a life. You are wishing harm or just hating on an 18-year-old kid because he didn't pick your school. I know one thing for sure, he is a better person than you will ever be,
For the recruits that didn't pick UT I wish them well, because they are young athletes trying to achieve their dreams.
If you don't like what I have to say that is fine. There is ignore list and I ask you to use it, I will do the same
