Seriously, we have way too many people in our fanbase that act like complete idiots. They dont realize that these athletes are socially connected and keep track of each other through twitter. Stuff going on with Kimbrow is being seen by Redmond, and was just retweeted by Geno Smith.

So basically, you make our entire fanbase look like racist dumbasses and recruits are taking notice. So all you bullcheekgators and fake this and fake that and ********* peope of twitter, stop giving our fanbase a bad name, because more people see this stuff than you think. DO US A FAVOR... GET OFF

Sadly, every fanbase has a group of idiots that make the whole fanbase look bad.

Yeah but ours seem to be more abundant than others. Instead of bashing the kid, we should be laughing our ass off at his ignorance knowing he's going to get destroyed in nashville in the 2012 season with a stadium in nashville filled with 75% orange.. If he couldnt make a difference on his high school team, why should I be given a reason to think he'll make a difference on the SEC's biggest bottom feeder?

People are talking crap about Kimbrow on twitter and He is not happy about it and He is responding to all the hate. It's stupidity on both parties. As a player you need to have thick skin and ignore ignorant people. and its just people being ignorant

Quit making stupid threads. Recruits are smarter than that.

Since when?

As a recruit when you see 5-10 'tennessee fans' on twitter bashing other recruits that doesn't make you think highly of their fanbase.

Making a thread will not affect the ones responsible. IMO.

For whatever reason Ive noticed a sharp upswing in the twitter communications of fans a recruits recently. Ive talked with several coaches and they've said that it can scare a recruit a little, but no word on whether its actually cost us a recruit or not. They never said anything about the people saying bad things about them online, but I cant imagine that anything possible would come of it. Honestly, they all really need to stop imo. Obviously when I was being recruited there was no internet, much less Twitter or Facebook, but it just seems like people can get too close to recruits these days.

Yeah but with all the recent bad press the last thing this program needs is this bull****! Don't make Dooleys job that much harder.

Yeah, I agree. Let the coaches do the recruiting. There is no need to go making it worse getting into some argument with him. He has his opinion of UT and we have ours.

I mean this may be true. We won't know until we play them again. The best thing we as fans can do is to just ignore him. He's looking for attention and is getting it and using it against UT.
