Get Behind JG

Well, if Friday night is any indication, we should all get behind JG. Harrison Bailey barely threw for 200 yards with 4 interceptions in a losing effort. He may not be the program saver that some believe. The opposing coach said their strategy was just to apply pressure......ouch!
I've always found him to be less than desirable based on his tape. But we can't seem to recruit any decent QB's so we have to take what we can get. Our kicker is doing really well, maybe we should put him at QB and just let him kick the ball to our receivers.

Lol you think JG would start over Kelly Bryant? He sure as hell wouldn't start over Sawyer or the kid at Florida right now. Vandy has a competent QB but no surrounding cast. He wouldn't start for state or Ole Miss. Maybe Arkansas would be desperate enough
You're not very bright are you? Had JG gone to Mizz as a Fr it's likely that Kelly Bryant would not be there now, same with Sawyer, try to keep up tough guy.

I hope that JG does not get seriously hurt in the next 4-5 game stretch. His persistence and grit are to be admired. Toughest QB that has ever run through the T. It would take a very brave soul to take a snap behind our OL. They have regressed since last year amazingly. It was hard to watch them get blown off the ball 60% of the time against UTC. They still cannot slow down the blitz packages. Kudos to JG for his sacrifice.

Exactly

OL might not be very good but I don't believe they've regressed from last season. They'd basically have to put 3 OL out there every play to regress from last season.

Was it not painful to see how UTC pushed our guys back and hurried JG on blitzes?

You guys always change the narrative. The debate was whether he would play for any other SEC schools. The he sucks view from an armchair fan is not a very good argument.
I think the argument is, if he started as a freshman in a different SEC school, and was competing against the QB talent they have now (and had at the time he signed) would he be their starter? I don't see it.

He’s already had like 5 different coming out parties during his career.

It’s time to quit using that analogy and show he’s ready for the next level!

Starts this week! Get a win at Florida and a lot will be forgiven!

Disagree. This was "that game" for him, and will be the confidence booster he needed for the rest of the season. I believe he leads us to a win over UF using the momentum he gained from beating UTC.
