You forgot to add in the evidence that this occurred, but let's looks at the total votes cast in each of those states 2020 vs 2024.

Funny thing. Trump lost GA in 2020 because he underperformed 2016 in the five largest bright red counties

HRC in 2016 (Biden 2020 in parentheses)
Cherokee - 22.37% (29.53%)
Forsyth - 23.71% (32.62%)
Hall - 23.74% (27.63%)
Paulding - 27.53% (34.76%)
Columbia - 28.96% (36.26%)

You really have to be a special person to not understand why 2020 happened and how voter turnout was lower for the Dems in 2024.

Riots in streets

It's the only time in my voting life where I had to wait in line any real period of time. Almost an hour. Of course that level of consternation would drive people to the polls. I contend no incumbent would have held on to the presidency.

2024 no pandemic, no more riots people less freaked out less likely to vote
Then you add the Biden switch to Kamala fiasco. How terribly unlikable she is. 4 years of crushing inflation and yea the left stayed home and the undecided and middle 10 broke for Trump.

If you had nothing to say when Texas redistricted mid-decade at Trump’s direct request, you have zero ground to say anything about redistricting anywhere else.

ALSO, voters in CA and VA had their say in this, TX voters had no say at all.

Cuts both ways. If you have no problem with this but had a problem with Texas then you are just as much of partisan hack. The majority will often attempt to silence the minority. They will then rationalize away what they have done.

It a bad idea when anybody does it. Republicans crying after firing the opening salvo of this current gerrymandering war, though, falls on deaf ears.
