Was anybody else happy to see Gerald on the field? 3 catches for 47 yards! Denarius played well too. 5 catches for 74 yards!

Yes. I am very happy. I hope Ainge can make better connections and learn to trust the youngsters more this week against ULL.

He hasn't redshirted and now that we are back in the race i doubt that he sits back down. We need him now more than ever. I thought the rule was that you couldn't play in more than two games but i maybe wrong.

This team can still make a ton of improvement THIS month. A lot of youngsters on both sides of the ball.

I noticed Jones being wide open a few times and Ainge throw to a double or triple covered Taylor, Brown, or Briscoe instead. I think Ainge was having a really crappy game. dunno if the coverage was screwing with him or what but he missed alot of wide open receivers.

Agree with that as well. He is the only receiver i have seen bounce off a tackle and not fall catching every ball.

If you play one down, your redshirt chances are over.

Per the NCAA:
NCAA - National Collegiate Athletic Association

Each student is allowed no more than four seasons of competition per sport. If you were not a qualifier, you may have fewer seasons of competition available to you. You should know that NCAA rules indicate that any competition, regardless of time, during a season counts as one of your seasons of competition in that sport. It does not matter how long you were involved in a particular competition (for example, one play in a football game, one point in a volleyball match); you will be charged with one season of competition.

But in order to get a medical RS you can't play in more than 25% of the snaps.

yep. Didn't think that was noteworthy enough to get mentioned. Unless he goes down with an injury, a medical redshirt is out of the question.

Don't be suprised if he doesn't play another snap and the coaches claim he's got another injury. They did this with Hancock last year and it cost him a year of eligibility.

Speaking of Hancock, he finally made a play last night! I for one was quite excited.

Hancock is starting to come around...Im also excited about him...Our offense next year will be very dangerous if we can find a QB sufficient for SEC play...

Give me a break. Our offense will take a serious step backwards without Ainge.

I was at the game and noticed that not only was he open on many plays, but he stuck with his blocks all the way till the whistle blew. He needs to be in the game!
