how am I being an ass? by pointing out that his big games were againt Ds comparable to our own? which of the teams the we've played has any defense that might have stopped Taylor?

I'd say that comparisons to Harvin are a bit premature.

He's comparing Jones to Harvin, not Taylor.

Yeah it is. The guy is an outstanding athlete. He has potential to be special. I'm not doubting him, but I will not say he's as good as the All-American Harvin until he plays more than 3 snaps against USM.

However, he will be on the field against UGA, so we'll see.

Taylor had 6 catches a piece against top 10 opponents- Cal and Florida, with over 100 yards against Cal.

I wasn't comparing anyone to Harvin, he has crazy talent. HOPEFULLY so does Jones. :thumbsup:

remember when Reggie Bush was the next Barry Sanders because he lloked that way on tape and against Pac 10 Ds? funny thing, he one hell of a lot easier to tackle, so he'll never even begin to approach the type of player Sanders was.

both Cal and UF have mediocre, at best, defenses. i have yet to see any YACs, even against the pathetic Ds we have played.

He can only produce against our schedule. What's he suppose to do? What do you have against Taylor? He and Brown ARE the players producing. Bitch and moan all you want but don't criticize the players that are doing well. We only have a few. Come on!:stop:
