Yeah... the deep contested twos need to stop. Truthfully I wouldn't mind giving more of his minutes to Gaines. Let other players take those shots, Gaines can develop and offer something more on D (two steals tonight in two minutes) and on the boards

I don’t think Gaines can be a viable option other than for spot minutes because he doesn’t seem to have any offensive prowess. I noticed Gaines was playing in the dunker spot during the game at some points. The dunker spot is probably the best position to play Gaines at this point because teams have to respect him defensively at that position, but you lose the advantage of having another guard out there with him in the game.

I think Bailey's issue is shot selection. He has missed a bunch of contested shots that's put him in a funk. In his defense it seems like some of the shots are right at the end of the shot clock when the offense bogs down. I know he made the long three and missed a long two at the shot clock buzzer last night.

If we continue to play this four guard up and down style we will have to steal a few minutes from Gaines. It will be hard to cover four positions with five guys for an entire 40 minutes. Of course we could go big for a few minutes too but pickings are slim there as well.
