Georgia @ Tennessee - How do they compare?

Stafford's got a great arm but throws into coverage a lot. Hopefully, UT can pick a couple and take them to the house.

So let's throw a different angle at this.

How does this match up?

Our Offense against their Defense?

We have to run the ball in this game. Our defense is so bad we need to keep our offense on the field all game. I like georgia in this game 31-28 dawgs.

Our Defense is horrible. I was watching the highlights from the Ark State game and could not believe all the missed tackles!!!!!!!! This is not from being young, this is from lack of fundamentals. Youth causes missed assignments. UGA has some good running backs and if we can't tackle, we are in trouble. UGAs passing game is not very good.

UT's coaches badly outcoached Richt and staff last time they met. Probably the best second half adjustments I've ever seen this staff make. We'll see how it goes with UGA's new OC.

I think their backs are better, especially when you consider that theirs have produced in the big games while ours havent. Also, I think our wr's are a push with theirs...they have a lot of drops but we cant go deep.

Moreno is the best back I've seen in the SEC this year including McFadden. If UT's D doesn't wrap him up and hang on, he'll rip them apart.

I've been pretty negative since the UF game. It is now my opinion that it should take an extraordinary turn around THIS SEASON for CPF to save his job... that might not be the case due to politics but it should be.

That said, alot of the right people are finally on the field for UT defensively and especially in the secondary. If Chavis can coach at all (which I'm not going to speculate on), these guys are going to gel into a pretty decent defense at some point. If he can't coach... then they'll gel for their new coach next year.

Put your hands above your head and back away from the keyboard slowly. :p Moreno has looked good at times, but he hasn't been THAT good.

For some reason, he hasn't gotten to play that much... but when he has, he's ripped through tackles. He doesn't stop running until you pin him to the turf. I'm impressed.

McFadden had great yardage vs Bama but he ran through gaping holes. Moreno ran through Bama players.

If I were a Dawg fan, I'd be screaming for that guy to get more carries.

I've got a pretty good idea why he's having to split carries.

From yesterday's AJC:

Richt: Moreno not ready to start

By CHIP TOWERS
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 09/26/07 Athens — The growing legions of Georgia fans pining for Knowshon Moreno to become the Bulldogs' starting tailback will have find another cause to champion.
"That's not going to happen," Georgia coach Mark Richt said of possibly starting Moreno ahead of senior Thomas Brown. "Knowshon's not ready to be the starter yet, in my opinion. He's talented, but he's still growing. He's still learning. It's tough to do. And Thomas is playing extremely well in his own right, and he's a great leader, too. You've got to have leadership."

...and people think that CPF is the only guy that buries Freshmen on the depth chart.

yeah. I really respect Richt but I think his shine is wearing off some.

It usually takes CPF 4-6 years to figure out how to beat a new coach... Richt has reached that limit judging from last year. Maybe in 3 more years CPF will figure out Meyer. If we could just talk everyone else out of changing coaches... ever... CPF might win another championship in say 5 years?

I really want to support CPF... but I'm so frustrated right now by the regression of the UF game it makes me sick.
