May longer be a good win after tonight. Pitt struggled against a scrub last week. Please tell me they've had some major injuries.

I'm thrilled we're 4-0 bit I've been saying I'm not sure we've played a good team yet. The final score was deceiving but Pitt struggled into the 4th quarter against Western Michigan.

Good lord GT is stupid. The clock is running, 4th and goal and they snap with 10 seconds still left on the play clock and then call a terribly executed fade.

GT still has time to blow this. Instead of getting a dagger TD, they failed and let Pitt march 98 yards down the field and score a TD.

Even if GT gets the onsides kick, there's 1:57 left and Pitt has all their TOs.

Not a good look that we had to go to OT to beat this team. I’ve not understood their ranking all year… riding last year’s coattails. We should’ve beat them by 2 scores in regulation.

I understand where you’re coming from, but year’s been weird in general. We’re 4-0 right now, let’s let the next few weeks play out before panicking too much.

True enough. I wouldn’t be surprised if they ran off some wins given that the ACC is trash, but this is a putrid loss.

It’s pretty simple really - our team is ranked where we should be ranked. You have to factor in two things. 1. Our pass defense super sucks. Allowing every average team to rack up yards and points against us.
2. Our offense is super good. But, It can barely offset our crappy pass defense - and it’s the best offense statistically in the country.

Pitt is much worse than advertised- Florida will be better than advertised.

Rankings aren’t based on team stats.

I truly don’t know how good we are. Best guess is we’re a top 20, maybe top 15 team. But our offense gives us a chance to beat almost anyone. I just don’t know how anyone can glean much from beating this Pitt team in OT and even the Florida game given their talent level and how much our defense gave up. Pumped that we’re undefeated… next weekend is huge. While LSU isn’t great, it’ll be a good road win if they can get it and would mean more to me than the Pitt win for sure, maybe Florida too (aside from the giant mental hurdle we had to get over by finally beating them).
