Colorado shouldn't have been in it. The infamous 5th down that year.

The AJC had a hilarious prediction for that game between CO and ND. Late in the game, ND is leading and CO drives to the one. They finally score on like 16th and goal. One line was describing 14th and goal: 13 times CO has tried to run it in from the one and 13 times ND has stuffed them. Never has there been a goal-line stand like this!
