are they considered rivals? Traditionally its always been the big two, (UF & Bammer) and the two roody poos (UK & Vandy).

But here lately the Georgia & South Carolina series have been much more heated and intriguing, and I believe they have passed Vandy & UK as UT's 3rd and 4th rivals.

Would actually being considered a rival to Tennessee be the biggest accomplishment in Carolina football....I think so

Hell no to South Carolina, a bit to UGA, since both them and us have knocked each other out of nat'l championship bids this decade, and they've knocked us out of a BCS bowl, too.

South Carolina  They are just a step above the homecoming game.

Georgia is what I consider a "big game". Yes, they are an enemy, but they are no where near the same category as Florida and Bama.

I would say Georgia is one of our rivals, but only because we have been around the same level lately.

you just can't win at USC in this era so no worries with them Georgia is always fun and atleast the fans have class unlike those punks in alabama and florida yes that was spelled with lower case letters on purpose

I wouldn't call either a rival. There isn't really a hatred between UT & UGA, it's just a very important game.

if anyone else saw Herschle Walker run over Bill Bates like I did they would know how long this rivalry has been going on

My personal opinion is Bama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, and Vandy in order.....SC doesn't deserve to be in there. I would say LSU could squeek in there, just because I despise them so.

UT's biggest rivals: Bama and florida. UGA's pretty big, but USC is not even on the radar. They're small potatoes, with a mediocre program every year.

wouldn't go that far either. georgia has some of the worst fans in the entire conference IMO.

1. Bama
2. UF
3. UGA
4. Auburn
5. LSU
6. The rest

Spurrier is the only reason why SC is a rival, but no more than KY or Vandy over time.

we don't even play auburn and lsu every year.

vandy is considered a bigger rival than them, no question about it.

heck, notre dame is a bigger rival than those 2 :)

it's considered more of a big game than a rival game, imo.

being from tennessee and nashville, i make sure to never miss a vandy v tennessee game.

If I had my choice to see the Vols play any SEC team, this is the order I would pick.

1. Bama
2. UF
3. UGA
4. LSU
5. Auburn
6. SC - Only because of SS.
7. Arky
8. Ole Miss,Vandy, Kentucky, Miss. St.
