I don't mind paying to park and I don't mind walking, but where would be the easiest/quickest place to park to get out after the game is over. We're making it a day trip so hope to not sit in traffic for hours after the game.

East Campus Parking Garage is free. After the game, the police open up a back way that dumps you straight onto 316 which gets you to I-85.

He nailed it. If you come from a different parking spot around say, north campus, I'd recommend getting to Prince Ave and heading towards Jefferson. Hwy 78 goes right into 85 and helps you avoid 316 entirely. Although I don't know which way y'all will e heading but this is the fastest way west/south
