Georgia fans are acting like what we all saw Happen yesterday didn’t happen to them last year.

Bama absolutely demolished Georgia, and then they Re-schemed and won on the bigger stage.

We’re going to get another shot and I guarantee you Hooker and squad are ready for another shot.

Not so sure. Look at the potential playoff teams. UGA, OSU, Michigan. They all have really good defenses. Even if we sneak in, we will likely get put out quick in dominating fashion.

This. People have been comparing us to 2019 LSU. We’re more like the offensive version of 2021 Georgia. That defense was legendarily good, and still got exposed in the SECCG (and make no mistake, yesterday was the SEC Championship, in the way that Manning/Brady AFC title games used to effectively be the Superbowl). They adjusted and shut Bama down in the National Championship.

This offense can still prove to be legendarily good by adjusting and taking it to UGA in the playoff.

And if their DBs can press man cover our receivers like they did last night it will be the same result... That and Hooker being visibly rattled were the main factors in the loss..

Yeah because game 1 immediately means game 2 will play the same result.

We all saw bama dismantle Georgia in the SEC CG and made Georgia look like they don’t belong and then they continued that beating I. The national championship game and Georgia didn’t belong there….oh wait…that didn’t happen.

Alabama was missing some Key players in that game as well.

UGA’s re-scheme consisted of not having to face John Metchie and Jameson Williams going down with an ACL tear to start the 2nd quarter in the NCG.

Heupel has 2 months to get Hooker comfortable releasing the ball against tight coverage. Next time we play Bru and Tillman need to have more opportunities to fight for contested balls.

The committee still has to put us in and for that we need help from other teams.

OSU/MICH - you have to assume only one gets in and wins the B1G title

Clemson - do they stumble again? Is a one loss ACC champ good enough to include?

Will come down to UT and TCU...

Any rate, if we do get that 4th slot we'll see UGA in the first round and not the NC game.
On a neutral field, I like our chances better than yesterday.

Clemson is done.

I don’t think the results will be any different if Tennessee faces UGA again.
The outcome may be the same but you wouldn’t see as many false starts and Hooker wouldn’t hold the ball as long as he did last night and you’d see Tillman and Bru get more opportunities to fight for contested balls, so who knows.
