Georgia is overrated says UT's Will Overstreet

Our team from last year would POUND you this year if they continue playing as they did to end things out the last 8 games of the year. Add a few more weapons to that (AJ Green and Caleb King to name two), and I wouldn't walk into Sanford hoping for too much this season.

You obviously have been associating with too many Gamecock fans. To them, there's the actual season and then the "what if" season. "If we continued playing as we did we'd have pounded you."

Take that weak logic back to a Dawg board.

Why would I know or even care where you went to school? You're on a VOL board so the assumption would be easy to make.

Douche. Seriously.

Nonetheless, your currently displayed level of intellect isn't proving me wrong by any stretch.

I love the name calling. Someone struck a nerve with Mrs. S!C EM!

I love the witty play on words with Knowshon's name. You sir are a scholar.

Thanks.

Since you are so good at predicting the season before it starts shouldn't you have your own site?

You don't need your own site to know that UGA is overrated. Again, you better hope Know'sean-shawn-shon-shaun (whatever it is) can redeem himself after the large egg he laid in 07 vs. Tennessee. I am not buying the Stafford hype either. What has he done???

I find it interesting the weight you guys throw on Knowshon. Your proof is his performance against your Vol team last year. Interestingly enough, for those of you that have ever played competitive football or any team sport, all others need not try to understand, impact players still need the help of their team. It's realy pretty simple, our O-line got destroyed and man handled in Neyland last year, without an O-line, Knowshon can't have impact. As our Offensive line improved, ...wait you guessed it...look what Knowshon did. So, just so you know, hats off to Tenn last year, you guys did what you needed to do, but if you want to throw fault on anything for your UGA "Overating", please throw it in the correct direction.
Take this for what it's worth.

BigPapaVol, please!!!, Since intelligence is of such a great concern to you, (personaly I find it to be something your lacking) I would bet that my IQ is greater than yours(2 of my degrees are from UGA since you feel the need to bash my beloved program), I'd bet I'm more successful than you, my girl is definitely hotter than yours, and I'll kick your a$$ any day of the week: Drop the dawg and pony show, nobody likes a know it all b1ch. Who are you trying to impress?

On a side note, Stafford, has been overated thus far, he has raw talent, but his touch has been far less than stellar. This could also be said for our recieving corp ability to hold on to a pigskin. UGA needs a solid passing game to beat Tenn this year, I'm sure Tenn will be prepared for our running game.

No you jumped in with a fairly inflammatory post:

You still have yet to prove that you have been.

Based on what information? Oh yeah, you told me. On a message board. For a school you apparently didn't attend. Right.

It is what it is.

No, you started talking in circles. Makes things very uninteresting.

Considering you're on SPORTS BOARD.....yeah, think about that. No one is here starting threads about who has the best or most expensive education.

On this point, I'll give you credit. However, if you somehow think last year or any other will have any bearing on the outcome of THIS year's game, you're just being foolish. The players don't sit in the locker room and think about their own personal winning percentage against other teams. The point you have all been trying to make is how you don't think we're all we're cracked up to be. Fine. I can live with that. But if you're thinking that the UGA team that showed up in Neyland last year was the same one that closed out the season on a tear, you're in for a lot of fun come October. And I do mean that tongue-in-cheek.

If you honestly and objectively couldn't tell the difference in the mental attitude of our players between the first and second half of the season last year, you're biased....which is expected here.

We'll all know soon.

Have fun.

PS: My apologies if I legitimately offended anyone. Some here are wearing a darker shade of orange glasses than others though.

Again, adios. :salute:

You are trying to use a winning streak where you guys played weaker competition(culminating with the mighty Hawaii) as a justification for being overrated? UGA is who they are. I hope you can stand to lose at least 3 games this year and be talked about as a monumental flop. Or maybe you actually think UGA has a shot at a NC! :birgits_giggle:

I'd take that bet in a heartbeat, given that you didn't have the sense to take the high road. You do understand that you're in exactly the same place that your retard in arms took this on Saturday, don't you.

The know it all stuff started with one of your idiotic brethren and ended with me. You're clearly cut from the same cloth as he, so why bother. This will only end in your making a bunch of gibberish laden statements that you can't back up about how great UGA is. As to the education, your compadre was the one who originated that part of the conversation after I said Stafford demonstrates a low IQ. He just didn't happen to like the result he got. Finally, I think the know it all bitch actually got in return what he started. You're likely to get the same, but it'll be better for you since you're clearly smarter and more successful.

I hope to find that comments about Stafford's decision making impede your thinking the same way they did Sic'em's.

Don't forget that his girlfriend is hotter than your girlfriend.

Or that his dad can beat up your dad.

I did leave that out, but toothless girls are only hot for about 15 minutes. Beyond that, the lisping and spitting are annoying as hell.

As to my dad, I'll let him fight his own battles, but I do bet my dad has a bigger shotgun than his deddy.

I have no problem with fans from other NCAA schools visiting our site. They often bring perspectives that we don't see thru orange glasses that may well be accurate and intresting. I have no issue with them respecting their team here either, as long as they don't disrespect mine. After all if we just flame and ban everyone that visits here that is not a Vols fan waving our teams banner we become Gatorbait....or RollTide.

Oughta be on the byGod home page

Going 27 years without an NC while watching every major historical powerhouse in the SEC get theirs is really wearing on some of these Georgia folks.

This year will be no different. Richt will find a way to win a big game while losing two that he shouldn't. That is the most valuable skill he learned from Papa Bowden.

I have been here a long time and have usually been treated with the utmost respect (eventhough we do have our disagreements) and I cannot believe some of the generalizations that are being made about all UGA fans in this thread.

It is unreasonable to expect you guys to not think we are overrates because we are rivals. But to bash an entire fanbase based on the comments of a few people on here defending their team is rediculous. Everyone on here would do the same thing if a former UGA player said the same thing about UT. Take off the Orange colored glasses for just a second and stop making harsh generalizations.

I feel in my heart that we are not overrated but I am realistic and I dont expect you guys to feel that way. Hell you guys have smashed us the last two years in a row. But, you would think over the years a little bit of respect between the two programs would have been garnered. We have each had our moments on the field and that is what makes the rivalry so great.

It is obvious that both our programs are led be men that we all respect and admire and we should try and follow the examples of these men. Neither would publicly or privatly utter some of the statements that are made on these message boards. It is a shame that people who post on a message board would question the intellegence, desire, or talent of a young man that is willing to play for either of these great institutions.

I personally trash the entire fanbase because 9 times out of 10 Georgia fans i run into, they don't know the game or their own program, but they all talk like they were there since Vince Dooley roamed the sidelines.
Im sorry that you have to suffer the misconceptions of the entire board but, you should expect that now seeing as you hafta swoop in and read what your fellow "Dawg Nation" members post in an attempt to rib and rub elbows with knowlegeable football people.

No disrespect intended. I hate recruiting against Richt....playing him doesn't necessarily bother me that much....most of the time.
