Georgia is overrated says UT's Will Overstreet

it's always painful to watch when a 28 year old resorts to namecalling on a messageboard.

Hey, I didn't initiate that friend. Your resident "I-graduated-from-an-Ivy-League-school-with-no semblance-of-a-football-team-to-root-for-so-I'm-here" did that.

then you're talking about totally different sets of kids. Please try to reason through the point of your debate before making such retarded points any more.

What does this statement have to do with what you quoted? Try reading and quoting the correct statement if you want your point to float.

Right now, your ability to make a coherent statement resembles a Red Bull Flugtag entry.

I'm sorry, you just learned to drink and you're trying to make what point? Oh yeah, the internet was discovered yesterday....I shouldn't know how to use this contraption. I get it. :eek:k:

You guys are ridiculous. This is way the hell off topic.

If you think we're overrated, you're entitled to your opinion. Can't say I blame you. I'd hate seeing a team we pounded twice in two years getting a ranking ahead of us too.

That said, we'll take care of validating the ranking when you come to Athens. Something tells me you still won't admit we have the better team this year though regardless of if we win or not. On paper, it's already decided. We'll take care of the "on-the-field" part on October 11th.

See you then.

:salute:

where did i say you didn't know how to use the internet?

anyway, this thread has gotten way off topic. i'm done with this garbage. go be ignorant somewhere else.

I jumped in when you started calling another poster an idiot.

The education crap started when you asked if I had ever been in a classroom besides AA. I let you know that I am more educated than you and will always be. It was very simple. You carried that further to the US News gibberish with some pride I might add. Then I told you that yo were lost and suddenly education lost its importance to you. You're actually making fun of an Ivy League education by saying the teams suck. Now that's genius.

Your point about 5 of the last 8 rather than 3 of the last 4 that we have won was plain stupid. Not only is it less relevant to this debate, the years you reference don't support your already baseless argument at all. We're talking about this year's team carrying over to the next, yet you reference older guys, when nobody currently playing at UGA has better than .250 winning % against us.

see post above to helpwith your reading comprehension. I understand you're from a very highly touted US News style program, so I have faith in you.

Glad to know you're a moron. Otherwise, I'd think you have severe brain damage with these comments.

And seriously...UF was INJURED? If by "injured" you mean Tebow's NON-THROWING SHOULDER, then yeah...okay. Sure. Take a look at our game against them in '06. Tebow didn't run at will on us then either like he did everyone else.

You're living in a dreamworld bud.

yoy refuted nothing, yet said I'm in dreamworld. Very clever.

Yes, and historically, we own UF. That doesn't fly in most arguments though. Not relevant, right? Try again.

You're the one who brought up 5 of the last 8. But you're right, all time records aren't relevant. So how about, like, the last two years? Maybe that would be relevant.

And since you like math so much, here's some.

51-33
+
35-14
=

86-47.

EIGHTY SIX
TO
FORTY SEVEN.

Until Jawja show us something different, tell me just why we should be intimidated by your team.

Edited to remove the yous. I imagine he's not on the team or Mark Richt.

I jumped in when you started calling another poster an idiot.

No you jumped in with a fairly inflammatory post:

this drivel is funny as hell. touting your wins against KY, Troy, Tech and HI. The we won impressively argument is just retarded. The UF win was impressive, but thei QB being hurt meant a lot more than LSUs, since UF had no D and LSU did.

You forgot the answered prayer at Vandy, losing AT SANFORD to a horrid SC team and getting killed in Neyland. Does our margin of victory over you guys mean aything? Seems to me you're neglecting it.

Finally, if you're using our team from last season as a measuring stick and it's a reasonable comparison, you can bet that you are massively overrated.

The education crap started when you asked if I had ever been in a classroom besides AA.

You still have yet to prove that you have been.

I let you know that I am more educated than you and will always be.

Based on what information? Oh yeah, you told me. On a message board. For a school you apparently didn't attend. Right.

It was very simple. You carried that further to the US News gibberish with some pride I might add.

It is what it is.

Then I told you that yo were lost and suddenly education lost its importance to you.

No, you started talking in circles. Makes things very uninteresting.

You're actually making fun of an Ivy League education by saying the teams suck. Now that's genius.

Considering you're on SPORTS BOARD.....yeah, think about that. No one is here starting threads about who has the best or most expensive education.

On this point, I'll give you credit. However, if you somehow think last year or any other will have any bearing on the outcome of THIS year's game, you're just being foolish. The players don't sit in the locker room and think about their own personal winning percentage against other teams. The point you have all been trying to make is how you don't think we're all we're cracked up to be. Fine. I can live with that. But if you're thinking that the UGA team that showed up in Neyland last year was the same one that closed out the season on a tear, you're in for a lot of fun come October. And I do mean that tongue-in-cheek.

If you honestly and objectively couldn't tell the difference in the mental attitude of our players between the first and second half of the season last year, you're biased....which is expected here.

We'll all know soon.

Have fun.

PS: My apologies if I legitimately offended anyone. Some here are wearing a darker shade of orange glasses than others though.

Again, adios. :salute:

Our team from last year would POUND you this year if they continue playing as they did to end things out the last 8 games of the year. Add a few more weapons to that (AJ Green and Caleb King to name two), and I wouldn't walk into Sanford hoping for too much this season.
Could've used the same moronic argument two years ago. How'd that work out for you guys?
