It doesn't matter. Tennessee is still 0-2 in conference play. Regardless, Dooley hasn't been fired, yet, so he still has a shot to save his job. It is going to take some wins though.

The fact that UT ran all over them tells me all I need to know about their rush defense.

You got to give UT some credit too. They had an excellent performance against our boys. Our D was giving up big runs because we were concerned about giving up big plays to the UT receivers. I thought it was an excellent adjustment by the UT coaches.

Our D should have played better but UT did a great job.

This is true. Taking nothing away from UT. They had a good plan and executed. I meant zero disrespect towards Georgia, jftr.

Hated to hear about Bennett. He is a great receiver for you all.

They couldn't stop your passing game either. Everyone was open. We'll move the ball just fine.

Like you did against Vandy and Kentucky? Moving the ball might not be a problem, but finding that place, the end zone, you know where the ball goes to give you points, is the problem.

Just IMHO.

I think an embarrassed Georgia handily wins.

EDIT: I will happily take my crumumpins. Georgia looked awful tonight or SCAR looked great, depending upon which side you want to take. Either way, I was wrong in my attempt at subjectively determining an outcome of a game. :)

Georgia has 3 games to win to be in the Nat'l Championship game:

South Carolina - Away
Florida - Neutral
Alabama/LSU winner 90 miles from their campus

So if his first SEC win doesn't come until November is that a fireable offense?

We spotted UK a ten point lead, played our worst game of the year, and still won by three touchdowns, so I'm a little lost as to why you brought that game up. You are correct about Vanderbilt, though. We have not been great on the road. We have, however, been pretty darn good at home.

Georgia's strength of schedule should hurt their chances playing for a NC.

I think maybe some of you aren't giving this UT team enough credit. UGA is a team that has 4 projected first round picks - all defensive players. Some people are starting to say they're a national championship contender and even better than Bama.

I think we come out next Saturday and win easily and this team suddenly has shown a lot of improvement.

Been listening to Skip Bayless I see

They will murder USCe this week. What our O did to that D was pretty remarkable.

Wrong answer, I live in the middle of these Mutt fans and 2 of my friends have been telling me how horrible their Def was but I wasn't buying it. UGAs def is horrible. Just like our Def is horrible. GA is loaded every year they just don't have great coaching. Same goes for Tn.

Georgia is more talented than we are almost every year...

Been reading through this thread and just wanted to point out that Georgia just lost their leading scorer for the season. And sc has a better coach. I loath spurrier, but I think S.C. might pull this one out. What you look for is toughness, And both teams are tough, but one has a reputation in big game situations.
