No insider knowledge, but, to me, NCAA investigators poking around the SEC, particularly one of UT's rivals on the field and for recruits, would be bad news for all involved (and by "all involved" I mean every program in the SEC plus a few in the ACC playing the same type of game).
Not when said rival is pulling the top class in the country every year without even winning championships bc they are dropping fat $$$. Georgia getting the NCAA hammer would be great for us for many reasons

Wow, this is certainly worth zero attention at all... "Rumors are"... I'm already out... Let me know when named sources say something official, or even when named sources say something unofficial... "Bowl ban? Sanctions?" I mean, I've got a dart board too I can put sticky notes on with random buzz words...

Are the rumors Georgia is getting a bowl ban, or are they pulling random **** out of their ass for the sake of needing/wanting attention??? Are there rumors Georgia is having sanctions levied against them??? I mean "You lose 2 scholarships" is technically "sanctions", would Georgia even blink over that??? No... These guys are useless...

It's difficult to get in any real trouble with the NCAA these days. Unless you self-report or self-punish, the NCAA is toothless. It takes FBI involvement to get anything done. Even then, the NCAA might not do anything.

It's stupid not to cheat at this point.

Clearly this is more fallout from NC's academic fraud scandal.
Saban's pissed and got his buddy at the Ncaa
looking at Ga.

Your posts reminded me of this gem:

“The NCAA is so mad at Kentucky they're going to give Cleveland State another year of probation.”

Some schools are more likely to self report and help the NCAA though. I remember when Gurley basically got caught with the same autograph thing Manzeil did. A&M told the NCAA to kick rocks and nothing happened, while UGA caved and suspended Gurley. Not sure if it had more to do with the administration or Richt.

It's a good strategy to self-report minor infractions. It builds credibility with investigators if and when you are accused of major infractions later, which you always must deny and fight.

I am sure he has Enmert looking at UGA. They are out recruiting Bama and stole Cochran from them. Would not suprise me at all to find out little Nick is squealing on uga.

I agree. I know the head set guys at an SEC school. They claim that their staff says GA is cheating a lot. Not that it's an insider story, just saying it fits per what they have said since smart has been there. I hope it's true and GA burns.
