Georgia fans on Tyler Bray...

I don't have the time to read through all this...

I'll give it to you in a nutshell: The troll thinks Bray is not better than Moore (he can't use Murray cause we all know murray sucks, so he lives vicariously through a different team's QB).

Then the troll predicted UGA wins 38-16.

When he got called on it, he went back, edited out the post, and denied he ever wrote it.

Lastly, he slunk off to get some loving off his favorite piece of tang, who is currently chewing the cud somewhere in a Georgia hay field.

Very hard to disagree with the general point of those posts. Bray is very talented but he's not in Moore's class yet.

Are you serious? Who is saying that Bray is? Exactly Dawg fans. Bray is a true Sophomore and Moore is a 4 year starter HELLO. Makes sense to me that they might not be on the same teir here but ask me when Bray is a Senior or better than that just wait you will see.

I think I and sjt both claimed that physically Bray is as good as Kellen Moore all day every day. You don't seem to address that at all.

Physically speaking, it's not even close. Moore is small and has a BJ Coleman arm. Moore benefits heavily from playing a schedule of the quality that people beat Bray down for.

Exactly right.

You are right. Time will show that Moore can't hold Bray's jockstrap. You better buckle your seatbelts Dog fans, because you haven't seen anybody throw the ball like this since Peyton Manning (and I guess Ainge lit you up as well)--and we all know how that turned out for you.

Big day for Mr. Bray.

Agree with the other posters, Bray does have a talented right arm, but in terms of present production, Bray does not get into Moore's class as a passer.

That just cracks me up. Now Boise State plays a tougher schedule than Tn? Any oh btw, if Kellen Moore was maybe I don't know, bigger, he could've been recruited by an SEC school like Tn.

T Bray is the real deal. He is not throwing to wide open receivers. He is throwing a lot of perfectly thrown balls, hitting guys in stride and releasing the ball before his very young receivers make their cut. If he had a running game and Justin Hunter, there's no telling telling where his stats would be. But his stats are already dominating the SEC--#1 in passing efficiency and #1 in yards per game and #1 in TD passes.

Preseason All SEC Aaron Murray is a very good QB (#3 in the SEC in the above categories). He is a much better runner the T Bray but Tyler has better vision and is a pure passer. I'll take the prototypical Tn QB (tall, pass oriented, four year starter) over the prototypical Georgia QB (shorter, running threat) any day--starting with this Saturday. GO VOLS!

That makes tons of sense considering bray has more "present production."

Good Point. by the way, did you know that
UT leads the SEC and is fifth in the nation in average time of possession (35:02).

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING: Vols largely move up nationally after Buffalo win | Gribble's Scribbles | GoVolsXtra.com

And we're #8 in Passer Effenciency and #1 in 3rd Down conversion percentage.

You can say "those were against terrible teams" but I'll just ask you to re-watch the UF game and tell me how many drops the WRs had on 3rd Downs that would have been converted had they been caught. Bray did everything he needed to drive the ball especially considering the complete lack of a running game and a shortened field.

I agree 100%. I've stated on here before the season began that Bray had the most upside of any SEC QB. Bray is very talented but you have to start winning some games to be in the same class with the Luck's and the Moore's. Bray will be a top NFL prospect but we are talking about college ball.

Big hit of reality for you...Football is a TEAM GAME....It's not all about Bray or Manning or Shuler or whoever...It all abut the TEAM and what it does on the field...Bray played decent against UF and still lost because our defense couldn't stop anybody.

Bray has a lot more than a "talented right arm." Here's the link to the video where Urban Meyer is dissecting Bray. Urban Meyer is a pretty credible source IMO. check it out
(no body is talking about Kellen Moore cause he's not in BRAY's class.)

Urban's Spotlight: Tyler Bray - ESPN Video - ESPN

True but a QB is also responsible for managing the game, that IMO is the biggest difference.

UT is first in the SEC in 3rd down conversion % in addition to TOP. Fourth in scoring O. Second in total O. Second in passing O (but Bray leads Wilson by 30 ypg). First in 1st downs. Third in sacks allowed. First in int/TD ratio. Third in red zone conversions and red zone TD%. Second in pass plays of more than 10 yds (with only 4 games compared to most with 5).

I am not exactly sure what else you want Bray to have done at this point. UGA may come up with a great plan and effort to shut him down... but the guy has absolutely been lights out to this point. He's playing as well as any player at any position in the SEC right now.

You obviously missed the post about Bray having plenty of time to prove himself, that's okay.

Moore has an excellent record with big wins. Bray has yet to get that signature win. He'll have his opportunites but its absurd to compare them at this point. You can talk about stats and potential all you want but unless it translates to a W, nobody outside of your fanbase will give a dam*.

Moore has not had a big win this year. Fact
