The Tennessee Vols' biggest home game of the season will take place in the middle of September when the Georgia Bulldogs visit Knoxville.

Tennessee will play Georgia in Week 3 of the 2025 college football season.

And it sounds like plenty of Bulldogs fans are expected to make the trip to Rocky Top for the important early season showdown.

DawgNation is planning to "invade" Knoxville on September 13.

God I hope we send these punks home with their tales between their legs.

With all of the bulldogs arrest will they have enough players to field a team? Fat Kirby has lost control.

They did this in 2023. It’s a non story.

They got a boat. Oooooooooooo! 🙄

We at least made last year’s game competitive into the third quarter. Sure would be nice to use defense to smother the team that prides themselves on their defense.
game was competitive into the fourth quarter we were only down 7. It was sadly the most competitive we have been with them since the 2016 game.

Good for them. I hope they have a great time (outside of the stadium). I look forward to the UGA fans spending a ton of money in Knoxville and the surrounding areas. The locals can laugh all the way to the bank.

In fairness, that's the coolest way to attend a UT game. It's something you can only do at (I believe) 3 stadiums in the country. Too bad they only have one chance every two years, unlike us....
Did it once with a Tenn fan during Fulmer's run. It turned the commute to the stadium into an event instead of a frustrating drive thru traffic. It is really one of if not the coolest tradition in college football.

Georgia fans (notably online ones) can be some of the most cockiest aholes in the sport; just look at Uncle Lou as a good representative. However, until we actually beat them on the field, I guess they have that right. Maybe it could be this year but we have a lot of question marks about this team so I am not putting that pressure (or expectation) on us. We also have to beat Syracuse first. I think we will but we can't over look the Cuse.

I hope we have a plan for how they defend us. Kirby seems to have our offense figured out
Heupel’s had 4yrs to figure it out. It would be nice to see something new thrown at them, but I think the problem has been that Kirby is petty from his years as a player and having always losing to Tennessee. He has his players up for this game every year. That’s why they always sleep-walk through games against KY, SC, and Mizzou but give us their A game. CJH has been brilliant planning for Bama, it’s time that UGA gets his full attention if we are to ever get over that hump. I don’t think it’s happening this year though unfortunately.

They did this last time they were in town if I remember correctly. Kind of nice that they are taking themselves out of the tailgating mix by isolating on a boat. We don’t have to deal with them at all.
Sounds like a good place to toss a few Molotov cocktails

When we played them in 2022 and 2024, we were also the "best" team that they played in Athens and, in the case of 2022, all year.

Eh, I think Texas and Ole Miss have cases too. Notice how they took Texas seriously but were a complete mess against OM. Kirby will never overlook us and have his defense ready every year as long as he is there. We’re not beating them until we can come close to evening up the talent level and Heupel comes up with a brilliant game plan.

My memory is a little fuzzy but I thought they went ahead by two touchdowns to start the 4th? Either way, it was the best we've played them since 2016 for sure!

Ole Miss and Texas were on the road. We were the best home game that UGA had all year and it was basically a play-in game for the SEC Championship.
