Sanders is not going to play again? Is that accurate? What’s going on with him? It went from “woke up not feeling well” on game 1 to “nicked up a bit” to explain game 2.

You think the line looks bad or something? The line play is good, and other guys are getting reps. It's a win win....

The line has looked good enough through the first two games. Georgia is a different animal though, and let’s be honest, Sanders will transfer if he isn’t playing. He will have to be recruited every year.

what? He was On the sideline in street clothes. It has nothing to do with the coaches keeping him on The bench.

I didn’t say coaches kept him on the bench. If he gets healthy or whatever and still isn’t playing though, then he isn’t going to stay here. I was disputing the notion that his not playing is a “win-win.”

Sanders supposedly suffered a stinger in practice the week of Syracuse game. He didn’t pass the strength test before the Cuse game and pregame warmups vs ETSU.

There's no way Sanders plays. Throwing a true freshman out there at right tackle to make his first start against Georgia would not be fair to that kid! Give him another week's rest and let him play against UAB.

Just don’t let him get rusty sitting on the bench. I had a thought about Sanders and McCoy returning mid season and giving us second wind, but I’m not too sure either can be expected to be in top form after not playing for a month.

I really think we need him this game.

I know people are worried about Chemistry on the line, but we need athletic guys -like Sanders at RT. Perry has been pretty solid but he needs to be at guard.
This exact point was made on the 247 podcast. Georgia has athletes. Perry has been really good, but he is an athletic guard, not an athletic tackle (though not unathletic at OT, just “athletic enough.” Whereas Sanders is, well, NFL OT athletic).
