I thought he did interview for a position somewhere on the staff last year but realized that he would be in over his head and withdrew from consideration. By the way, whatever happened to tyler maples from murriville? Was he a bust?

hard to be a bust when you're a 2 star coming out of high school. there's just more talent ahead of him. he'll be lucky to ever see the field at UT

The only thing I think GQ has been offered is a GA position I believe. Maples is a RS Frosh. He'll never be a starter, but he still has times to contribute.

Pretty much...playing for Maryville made him look better than he really was, and although he is fast, he doesn't have the skill set to compete

Considering the pathetic way that the TSSAA has set up football and the playoff system, I honestly don't put a great deal of stock into winning state titles.

Come on up here and do it, then we'll talk.

Hell, I knew a guy that won 200 straight Pop Warner league games, but he couldn't coach anything else.
