I've been collecting Tennessee football memorabilia for most of my life. This is the centerpiece of it all. I just put together this new display for it, and wanted to share it with you guys.

One of the reasons I went with Cafego for my avatar, he was a beast on the field and hated Vandy with a passion. Great memorial Jeb, you should be proud.

Very nice!...I remember several people getting his autograph when he was the kicking coach...Certainly was a gentleman and very friendly.

Yea I'd say that's pretty sweet. Make sure it stays in the family and they know the history of it. I've seen so many of my friends get hand me downs from their parents and end up selling them, not realizing the true sentimental value of things.

My prized autograph possession (of many) is Elvis Presley and The Stamps pictured autograph. :)

"Bad News" Cafego was a national treasure. He absolutely hated Vanderbilt and I am sure is hating them to this day. He was probably one if not the first special teams coach at UT and taught punting to a series of Vols, a few of whom ended up punting in the NFL. I think that he was also genuinely just a great guy. He did get upset when he retired and they gave him some used vehicle that had been handed down by the lady vols. (Rightfully so) My dad worked with him a few years and only had great things to say about George. If someone could scan that whole article so that we could read it that would be tremendous. It looks like back in the day they really knew how to have a bonfire. Thanks for that memory.
