GeoGuessr - Let's explore the world!

Click on the site and it drops you somewhere in the world and you have to guess where you are based solely on Google street view. You get five different locations and then you get a score. Very cool.

My first score was a 7,415.

10826 with closest guess missing by 26km.

Just for clarification - I'm not Googling town names, street signs, etc. Are you all doing it simply on visuals?

The only one obvious for me as the 7 mile bridge in the Keys.

Anyone else getting a ton of Winnipeg? That's going to be my new default answer when I have no clue.

How the heck am I supposed to guess this? On a freaking mountain. It isn't even a road and it won't let me navigate at all.

7655 2nd go round. That was freaking tough. The mountain was in Germany. Then I was in some jungle in Australia.

I don't google any names that I see, but I will "walk" around to get a different perspective.

my closest guess so far has been in Sweden where I missed by 61km.

my worst guess was thinking I was in Nova Scotia when I was actually in New Zealand.

Boom! 13,982. Closest guess was 18.617 KM. fortunately, the word Tokyo was on a building...:)

guessed one within 2km, of course, having the Golden Gate Bridge just south helped a lot

Closest was 143 mi. Still in Kentucky. 7452 pts. Doing it on iPhone so it's hard to do with small touch screen.

Tried again. Did worse. Guessed Canada actually was Argentina 10612 km off.

19122. Sweet. Would have broken 20000 if I hadn't let the mountains in the background let me change my mind from Mexico City to Monterey.

Got one at .023 km and another at .465 km.
