Gentleman, it's about time...

I'm not sure beating this Georgia team can be historical though...I feel where you are coming from but this is a match-up between two middle of the pack teams.

yea but Tn is getting better every week and Ga well is Ga they are always hyped up and never do nothing.

For a win that means something. We long for the days where neyland stadium was feared, where our teams were feared. A time when we owned Georgia. Saturday night is an opportunity for us as a fanbase and a program to crawl out of the abyss and back into the light. For those of you lucky enough to attend, raise absolute hell and let's make this a special moment in our history; one that we can point to years from now as the beginning of the return to glory.

Go Vols!!!!

I'll be there in section M like I always am. I'll root for the VOLS and if things don't go our way I'll be back again for LSU. I started following the VOLS through my wife who is a huge VOL fan. It started in 1997 when they were one of the best teams in the country. After the 2001 season it was obvious the VOLS were not the same team they had been for the last 5 years. Still a top 25 team, but not elite top 5 team anymore. The program really slid in 2005, the first losing season in 17 years. But, Cutcliffe came back and restored respectibility to a inept offense and the VOLS won the SEC east in 2007 and lost a tight game to LSU in the SECCG. We all know where we have been the last 3 years, mid to lower SEC tier team. This Saturday is a chance to restore some national recognition back to the VOLS. It's not do or die for CDD but, the VOL faithful want to know when we will beat a winning program in the SEC. Win or lose I'll be back and root for the VOLS. GO VOLS !!!!

The key is everybody has got to get liquored up pretty damn good!!

Deny Richt a 100th win but still beating the Bulldogs is not that amazing win that Bray, and Dooley need. It would make it unique from other wins over the Georgia Bulldogs.

But can't deny if we hit the Bulldogs in the mouth early, and put them in a large hole it will be hard for them to come back.
Beat the Georgia Bulldogs convincely build momentum, because the next game it's the bigshot LSU Tigers. Vols need confidence, and momentum going into that game.

Good thing I'm not going to the game. Every time I go to a Tennessee game, they lose. All the big games anyways.

I'm not joking either.

LSU, Lost in the final seconds because of a fake punt

Georgia - Don't remember

Auburn - Yep. 2009

Oregon - Breakdown in the second half

So yea.

Raise enough hell for me sitting 6 hours away, wishing I was in Neyland. I'll be there next weekend to help you guys raise more hell against LSU

To be so fired up about possibly beating a Georgia team in their down year, really shows how far this program has fallen.

Meh..I tried my best negavol impression. I don't see how they stay so negative all the time..it's no fun. We whip UGA's ass Saturday!
