No, it's not the perception. It's a smeer job that's been pushed by Con fans for years, so it might be YOUR perception, but it's not the general perception of Candace. We watched her up close for the years she was at UT, and I can tell you, she was never a me-first player, a stat-padding player or a problem personality. She is flat-out great and that brings out the snark in opposing fans.

Then why has she said nothing about supporting this team? Former Olympians in every sport support the USA.

I see some people also come to this forum disguised as Lady Vol fans when they're really not. GTFOH with that nonsense that she's not a team player when it's been disputed many times. i know the resident troll that always says it's done posting here will be back like usual to do what it does best which is whine and complain.

Candace should be the WNBA MVP this season. She got cut from a USA team that nearly lost to the USA select team by a rival coach. Any fool can connect the dots here.

She has. So again, you're making false accusations. And why should she support a coach that railroaded her? She more than earned her spot and he spat in her face.

I could just as easily take your sentence and substitute a few words and turn it around to explain how Tenn fans think about Geno as opposed to the rest of wcbb.

It isn't "just Tenn" fans that think ill of geno. But it's only conn fans that think ill of Pat and now Parker. Try again.

You can say whatever you want, but it doesn't change what has been printed in Connecticut papers by the Conn. press about Geno & cheating, Geno's favoritism, and lawsuit against Geno. We didn't invent that.

From reading the wbb boards of other schools, I don't see anyone loving on Geno. Well, probably one exception - your board.

The CT press has certainly written about the unsupported charges of cheating made by Tenn. They are still waiting for the evidence. I don't remember seeing even one CT writer saying that Geno played favorites and the only thing about that lawsuit I am aware of is that it was thrown out of court.

I am constantly amazed at the way some can grossly twist, distort and invent facts to support their hatred of anything related to UConn.

Omg. The charges made by UT were almost ENTIRELY supported by articles from the CT press. The documents UT/the SEC filed with the NCAA supported a request to look into the incidents reported in the CT press. The CT press obviously KNOWS Geno cheats because they have reported it.
