The Commodes were a football powerhouse . . . for the first quarter of the twentieth century. They were 10th overall, with a record of 165-45-15 (.766 winning pct.). When Neyland ascended to the Hill in 1926, natural order was reestablished. UT is 3rd overall (659-249-33, .717 pct.) and Vandy is 101st (250-503-31, .413 pct.).
