Gonna skip it this time around on Gears. The last 2 really killed it for me online

The co-op campaign should be worthwhile if nothing else.


I didn't mind 3 except some of the map layouts made it campy.

Not sure if I'll buy this one. I didn't play 3 hardly as much as I thought I would.....which sucks in hindsight considering I bought the season pass for it.

Got it Pre Ordered and will be at my Local Gamestop Midnight on tuesday. I've been a Hardcore Gearhead since the first one.

We definitely started figuringing it out. But you're right, you just can't overcome a couple of bad teammates.

Picked this up at GameStop. Traded in a couple of games and got it off the credit. Hoping its much better than 3...couldn't stand the last one.

Whoa, I had no clue this was happening. Always been a Gears fan. Will pick up at some point. Still need to get NBA 2k13 first...

It's very different, some good and some bad. Most of the Gears folks I know seem to like it once they've had a chance to get used to it.

Personally, I think the maps are way too big, even though they are broken up nicely, which leads to some good gnasher play. And whoever decided it was a good idea to spawn with a frag grenade should be shot.

Basically they've tried to make the game a little more mainstream. Some aspects remind me of COD or Halo. Only time will tell how the multiplayer community will respond long term.

I like the game and think its worth buying. But if you've never been a fan of the series, you probably aren't going to like this one.

Execution drops tomorrow along with the new map, Haven. I also understand that execution will be played on four new maps. I hope that's accurate. The existing maps are way too big for execution.

Haven't had a chance to play yet buit I'm told there's only one map for execution, which is disappointing if true.

So far the only real complaint I have is the lack of Multiplayer maps. Hope they have DLC map packs coming soon. I am tired of the same 4 maps in vs mode.

Really liked the Story for the most part and Aftermath was really fun. Karn was a cool boss. RAAM will always be my fav but Karn was a step up from Skorge for sure.

I have to say that Overrun got boring to me really quick. I also miss the Horde mode from Gears 3.

All in All I think its worth the money.

Yeah, it's gears...with different weapons. Haven't played co op yet. Fun but nothing outstanding.
