Me either. I love the whole thought of getting it at launch, but I have a Criminal Justice exam tomorrow so I wouldn't be able to play it tonight. I'm either hitting up Walmart/Gamestop tonight, or gonna go to Best Buy on the way home tomorrow. I haven't preordered it or anything.

Im not much into single player/ co op mode, just a few hours of multiplayer when not working. Obviously no one knows for sure, but think this would be worth $60 for multiplayer, or play more black ops until BF3 or MWF3?

Completely different games. If u r a COD guy save the money. BF3 will be the one to spend on.

Well, it's more of it's own game. I guess more like two but the shotgun works and host adv is gone. Mire weapons to even out things and mire gameplay modes.

The main reason I hated Gears 2 was the shotgun was completely changed. I hated how you couldn't run and shoot like in Gears 1. I'll be picking the game up in a couple of hours. I'm excited to play it. The beta didn't do much for me, I guess because I was still stuck in "Black Ops" mode with the gameplay and controller setup. Hope it's a worthy buy.

I have about 8 games and a DS Lite I'm going to trade in today or tomorrow towards it. Whatever I have left over will probably go for Modern Warfare 3 or Assassin's Creed Revelations.

I'll probably get this Thursday even though I pre-ordered it. Too busy to go pick it up today or tomorrow.

The new horde (dont remember it being like this in 2) is absolutely awesome.....dare I say more fun than zombies

Try the beast mode too. It is just horde reversed. You can buy/choose horde units to try and take down the human base.

These are my two favorite parts of the game right now.

Bought this today and it's been fun so far. Not that far into the campaign yet but played some team deathmatch with bearcat along with one of my friends tonight and had some good matches. Good to see the shotgun power back to where it used to be via the sawed off.

The only complaint I have so far is that the appearance is still more in line with GoW 2 than the first game. They had it right the first time.

I agree. Awesome game though, I love it. It's got that Gears 2 vibe to it, but plays a lot differently IMO.

And Horde mode rocks, haven't tried Beast mode yet. I'm going to start the campaign this weekend. Level 15 on MP.

Wish Epic would've made the Sawed Off Shotgun a power weapon. It's the only real problem with the multiplayer as it can potentially ruin KOTH and takes away from the great close quarter combat the gnasher and retro lancer offer. Not to mention that it takes absolutely zero skill to use.

The game is smooth, the weapons work, I've yet to run in to any lag. This is what Gears should play like. Horde is pretty fun as well with the base building and bosses. Still haven't tried the campaign.

The lancer a much more powerful weapon than in the other two. At first I hated it, but now it's what I used 80% of the time. Nothing like mowing down noobs who neglect the lancer.

Best multiplayer out right now. Need more maps as all are very similar the weapOns are very balanced and mo more long range shotgun is nice. Not gears 1 by any means but good job of making a very playable MP
