MW3 and it isn't even close.

I actually traded in GOW3 for MW3.

That game was garbage.

Ive never played GOW3 so I didnt vote, but I would think MW3 would be better just based on mulitplayer, am I wrong?

Two completely different multiplayer games, don't really see how you can pass it off as fact that one is better than the other.

Gears wins this matchup IMO.

Epic at least built off the previous two installments of Gears and included more stuff to do. Infinity Ward on the other hand added virtually nothing different when comparing it to the other two games in the series apart from Elite.

COD didn't have to be improved to be better than Gears. The COD series is just way better than Gears no matter how much Gears improved on this game or how COD didn't add anything new.

With as many games in the series that CoD has, there better be some new stuff in each game or it's not worth the $60 tag IMO. CoD has almost become like NCAA or MAdden to me in that regard.

Yeah - but a stale, COD is still light years better than 99% of game out. It is one of the all time best franchises for a reason - we just expect them to get better even though this game is head and shoulders above most game - no matter what the haters vote.

Didn't vote because I've played neither, but GoW3 has a better MetaCritic (the Rotten Tomatoes of video games) and GameRankings score than MW3. Might be because its a better game? Dunno.

Not at all - there's a reason one has sold outsold the other by a wide margin. And just talking about xbox 360 sales of course.

Wrong, look at all the advertising for this game. COD4 was great, and Black Ops was good but MW2 and 3 are not good. They half ass it just like EA sports does with NCAA and Madden because they know people will buy it every year no matter what.

They can half-ass it all they want - the core of the game (MP) is better than any FPS out there other than maybe BF3. It's dumb to argue differently. They don't need to innovate - they can slightly upgrade the graphics every year and add in little customizable things and it will still be the top FPS due to the core MP game and that's just the way it is.
