Gavin Hardin

according to scout.com, Gavin Hardin, former Ole Miss commit, has re-opened his recruiting due to the coaching change. He's a 4 star on scout and 3 star on rivals. he goes 6'5 240 and probably projects as a DE. he still lists miss as a soft verbacl with high interest in Miami and medium interest in Tennessee and Kentucky according to scout.

I remember reading an article in my hometown paper (The Jackson Sun, also where hardin is from) stating that Hardin was "feeling the heat" from UT. there were also quotes from Hardin Himself stating that UT coaches told him that he was a "must have" and so forth.

I've heard that he isn't going to reopen and that he is solid to Ole Miss.

I read an article like that too but another quoted him as saying Fulmer said he was a must have and our number one recruit, which by coincidence is what Nutt told Walls--think this might of upset Harvin--He said he did not know how he was going to turn down being someone's number one-- I dunno saw the other report too.

I just read a recent article from the 7th. He is a soft verbal to Ole Miss at this point. He says to list him as solid while at the same time he says my options are now open. He also said if Coach Freeze goes then he is most likely gone, Freeze is gone as far as I know. He may not qualify this year anyway he has not passed ACT. He got a 15 last time but took prep course after.
