I think "Vol Fan Jeff" has to be a VN poster. You can just tell the nervousness in his tweet.

And I don't mean to make the rumor take off, but the women's soccer match wasn't over at 1:45pm :unsure:

I haven't heard his name mentioned in the last few practice updates. There's an article on 247 where Shoop discusses our safeties. He mentioned Gaulden, but followed with, "if we can keep him healthy." I hope that's a reference to last year. Shoop raved about Abernathy, though.

Football-related or not, I hope the kid's alright.

Everyone here needs to take a moment and reflect on all the sentences you say throughout the day in personal conversations. Now, pluck one of those out of the personal conversation and say it without context. Take some time, this is a difficult exercise.

For this next generation of folks social media is the conversation. The tweet is the sentence without context.

tl dr; Relax. Don't assume the worst. Just stop following players on Twitter and get back to work.

Social media making grown men lose their minds

No one is losing their mind.

I don't understand the sensitivity with some posters when it comes to asking about strange happenings on social media. Social media is based around projecting your voice/thoughts for the world to see. Inquiring about it is not abnormal.

It would be no different than Gaulden being interviewed and saying "I'm just devastated" and walking off. Of course it's going to raise some eyebrows.

I don't follow him or any players on Twitter, but do follow many UT beat writers/media and they were retweeting it. Hacent seen anything connecting it to the USWNT loss (or anything else).

His tweet was about the Women's US Soccer team losing their match. Nothing to see here.

@UTCoachBobShoop says @Gmoney_7era is just fine. Notes he's a dramatic soccer fan w/ a laugh. #Vols

What's devastating is we have a football player who actually likes soccer. And not just soccer but women's soccer!!! Horrible news
