Gaulden injured his foot in practice

Frankly along with Sanders, yes it does. Like I said, hopefully I am just overreacting.

I could see Jackson changing your opinion of the chances of our line being solid to a degree. Like maybe instead of being mediocre-to-moderately good, now they're just going to be mediocre-to-moderate.

But Austin Sanders should have very near zero impact on anyone's season predictions. It's far from sure he'd ever have seen the field...even in mop-up.

He will be out at least a month

Given that our first challenging game is 3 1/2 weeks away (OKlahoma), and the next challenging game is 2 weeks after that (Florida), we might be getting him back just when we the schedule starts getting heavy.

But it is going to be a setback not having the Dime option available for Oklahoma...all indications are, they could be the best passing team we're going to face all year.

[I assume the Dime package they were working on is out the window until Gaulden comes back]

Who did we lose in fall camp in 2012, 2013, and 2014? I don't remember many injuries those years.

It's happens brother, I'm not about to go dig up the names from the past just to talk you down off the cliff that you are ready to jump from.

I don't know about that. Callahan and Rucker are pretty reliable sources as are the guys from RTI. They're the ones reporting both injuries tonight.

Attending and reporting on practice's ,interviews being allowed in the facility , require authorization from UT . You do not just walk in off the street .

No cliff jumping. I just legitimately don't remember many (any?) long-term fall camp injuries from recent seasons.

We also had Derek Dooley and losing records for all of those years. I'll jump off the cliff when we are "that" bad again.

Edit: Not 2014 but you know what I mean

There is a silver lining. While Gaulden's injury hurts, the secondary is loaded with depth and talent. It's been reported Sutton has been getting a look at nickel and there is always Evan Berry and Justin Martin.

It's getting to the point that when I log into VN, I am expecting to read about another injury.
Yeah, I'm getting like Butch on the reporting of these injuries. I don't want them reported. I don't want to hear about another one of them through the media or through friends of the media posting on VN.

I'm urging Freak to ban anyone who reports on any further injuries. Knowing about them won't do any one of us any good and has contributed thus far to severe angst and mild to severe manic depression resulting in incontinence in some cases and complete impotence and neurotic spasms in others.

the last week or so if you turn on the radio in nashville or knoxville all you hear about is UT injuries even if its precautionary they still freak out. Id imagine tmr will be rough. I wish they would keep this stuff more secret now that its starting to get out of hand.
