I don't think a billboard with Tebow in Jorts, kissing his roommate would go over well in East Tennessee.

Some of the responses and comments are getting more intense and longer in the TOOTH.

But the desired effect is apparent to the most ardent of the SEC fans engaged in the debate.

Their hatred for a team that they have pounded for 2 years in a row is so funny, not to mention a team that has come off a 5-7 season

I like the fact that they are talking about us though, it just means there is fire to this rivalry again

the billboard was pretty cool.......where in FL are they going up? Metro areas like Dade?

I hope Kiffin brings back the intensity to it. It seems to have died down a little over the years. Hope they enjoy this one cause in the years to come the tables will turn.

Well that's what Kiffin was brought in to do....Get us back to the top of the pile where UT football should be...Just the fact that they are even talking about us shows that they still hate us, which is great...Because without that it wouldn't even be a rivalry..But its died down over the past years because they have thumped us...I don't think we will have to worry about that happening too much longer

lol to the poster that wanted a billboard of meyer holding the 2 crystalfootballs,

lol id put one up above making it known we have 6 NC's they have 3

withouth harvin we can beat them this year, esp with the TEN-2 , tewbow doesent throw to the sidelines verry well, and jeff demps and chris rainey are not gona beat us running the ball.

HAHAHAHA!:lolabove: I love how pissed off all these UGA and FL fans are getting about these billboards. These morons who believe the gators are going to drop 70 on us crack me up. I hope their football teams are as cocky as their fans, because if they are we could do some damage this fall. If the PF regime were still here this game would barely be talked about, but now that CLK and company have taken over these people are getting nervous and it's painfully obvious. I wish it was Sept

I doubt Florida is worried, and they could still very well hang a big number on us (which in the overall scheme of things doesn't really matter this year).

Georgia, on the other hand, needs to be very concerned...

Pretty sure Urbie is laying out a game plan that maximizes the points scored....if he runs it up, then so be it, for this year.

Wonder when the "painters" will show up at the billboards?

I didn't really mean worried about the game this year, but rather, nervous b/c they see what we're doing right now and the future looks a little bit less optimistic from their point of view. I agree that we will probably get thumped in the Swamp, but I do believe if we keep it w/in 2-3 scores that FL will consider it a "loss" on their part. UGA fans, on the other hand, really need to choose their words carefully considering we kept it w/in 12pts last yr, and they lost their 2 most productive players.

I doubt they would be allowed to buy any billboard space in East TN.

I can't imagine how quickly that billboard would be defaced if the Gators did put one up.

The funniest thing about that is how stupid all the posters were.

Do they really think that those billboards are there only to sell tickets?? LOL, we have no problem filling seats as long as there is a decent product on the field.

I really can't believe that none of those posters realized that the Berry Billboards are purely a recruiting tool to show kids that we will promote them and they will receive national attention.....just like Kiffin allowing the secondary violation that showed Joyner and his Dad on national TV.

Kiffin understands that most recruits want to be in the limelight.

All of it is ridiculous. The Gator fans base couldn't be more optimistic. Two of the last three national championships with a shot at another this year, top recruiting classes- what could possibly cause the fans to be less optimistic?

No, Gator fans will not consider it a loss if UF doesn't win by "only" 2-3 scores. Tennessee isn't Charleston Southern. Most realistic Gators beleive that Tennessee will be ready to play and expect a competitivie game.

Hate to disagree Rocky Top, but the Vegas line on this game a few weeks ago was FL -27. If they win by 3 TD's (but still don't cover the spread) I can't imagine they would consider it a loss. Plus, if defense shows well against UCLA then IMO the spread may come down further.

Dunno about FL, but the ones in ATL will be LED billboards. However, I would not put it past GA fans to try and paint over it...:ermm:

Exactly. Kiffin isn't trying to sell tickets, our games will all sell out with no help to the billboards, especially if we are winning games, and big games at that...Of course they are going to have the ticket office number on there...Fact of the matter is, and this is with any fan base, they are going to take shots at their rival team if they are putting billboards in their territory

Did anyone see the one that said the only way Kiffin was getting to Atlanta was on a billboard? I'm not looking for it this year by any means but IMO, as long as we still recruit good and Kiffin keeps playing the boys good we will be there before they will, maybe I'm wrong but I hope I'm not

Tebow being gone next year, will hurt them big time....Brantley is good but obviously he is no Timmy Tebow...Don't get me wrong Urban has recruited very well and they will be tough to beat no matter who is their QB but next year isn't going to be as great as the past couple years...JMO
