Gators Headed to Knoxville (Wed. 6:00 PM EST)

The Vols coming off back-to-back wins vs Vandy and LSU. Another unblemished week would go a long way in getting this team back on track. The gators just lost their most recent matchup on the road vs Ole Miss Monday night. It will be a quick turnaround for UF so we need to jump into their tired legs from the get-go. They aren’t made to crawl back into games after being down a large deficit, especially vs a defense like the Vols. A win gets us to 14-5 and 5-3 in the SEC before the non-conference showdown with Barnes’ old stomping grounds, Texas. Anytime we put a beat down on the gators is a great day but it’s paramount that we beat teams we are better than at this point in the season. This team needs all the confidence it can get and nothing will boost that more than a nice win streak. The embarrassment that took place in Lexington seems to have had a positive effect on this team. Two wins this week sets up for a possible 8 game win streak (Vandy, LSU, UF, Texas, TAMU, USCjr, Miss St, Vandy) before the rematch with the Cats in Knoxville.

No excuse for Vols not to win Wednesday vs. Gators. FL will be playing 3 rd game in 5 days. I hope CRB applies full court pressure and plays fast tempo on offense. Gators should be worn down by second half

IAnybody know if Castleton will play for Florida?

UF has shot sub 25% from 3 the last 2 games. Their post players even without Castleton have been surprisingly decent, tho it was against Vandy and OM. If we shoot even halfway decent and play with a fraction of our defensive prowess, this should be a relatively easy win.

Also their 3rd game in 5 days playing with minimal depth.

Tale of the Tape favors us big time.

Why has BHH and Aidoo not got playing time ...they were 2 highly rated big men . Are our coaches not coaching them up or ??? Other highly rated big men in this league and others seem to play sooner and alot more minutes ... I think they both get discouraged and hit the portal ....

Why do half of your posts revolve around the transferring of our big men? BHH is getting major minutes and contributing and Aidoo was sick before the season which really set him back.

BHH has played in all 18 games and averaging over 10 mins/game, so I don't know why you think he's not getting any. This staff plays those that have proven they know what they're doing and will do what is asked of them. If Aidoo is not doing those things (or is not progressing due to illness/injury or whatever), they won't throw him out there. I trust the guys who've done this for a long time and see them at practice every day.

And maybe he's not putting in the work to get tougher out there, as is a weakness on his 247 evaluation.
