Dozens of complaints (not just tamu homers) on espn boards claiming uf D players were faking injuries to slow down tamu hurry up offense. Probably practicing for this week.

Muschamp said it must have been cramps which "I can't explain." sort of like the 10 intentional pass int plays he called for his bewildered DBs vs UT last year. Then, play acting pretty well, he jumped up and down like a lunatic and screamed atvthe refs as if he was surprised.

I think uf had problems with conditioning for Texas heat. Foley will have Slives ass for this

Maybe if they change the rule and make it to where the "injured" player has to sit out the entire series and can't return until the ball changes hands will make them think twice about trying that.

Muschamp is a slimeball who carries himself like a spoiled child on the sidelines and it would not surprise me one bit if he was the one who personally told his players to fake injuries to gain an advantage.

Might be on to something there.

Yeah I'm sure you'd think it was a great idea when we're playing an offense not running the hurry up, and AJ Johnson comes out for a play after getting the wind knocked out of him and has to sit out the entire series.

smh... The things you hear in the football forum.

Exactly. I don't think the players were doing it intentionally. The simple answer is they are not in shape. You could see it in the BG game, and now the A&M game. The game of football does not need any more "new" rules.

the threat of penalizing it would still be enough to stop it for the most part or fining the schools or whatever like the nfl does

Coming off of two emotional games for FL, maybe we can have a shot

That's a good point.

Maybe you enact a penalty against it. Even if it's impossible to ever enforce it, you could hope it cuts is down a little.

But then what about the one time that one overzealous ref throws the flag and affects the outcome of a game?

i mean they could just make the rule and tell the refs to never call it and leave it up to the review boards or however that crap works... sort of like enforcing TD celebrations... usually saying theyre going to crack down on it will be enough even if the refs call it 0 times all year

Oh, I bet. And how many Florida practices have you been to? I would love to know how you gathered this evidence that Muschamp coaches his team to cheat.

You just sound uneducated.

So what was the reason for all the cramps? Not in shape? Didn't want to play? Getting whooped?
