Gators claim TT "trucked" Berry

As long as we're talking about what is getting posted on SwampGas....look at what Clearwater Vol is posting over there about VolNation.

"I enjoy getting information here and quite honestly get sick of all the Tennessee homerism on that board"

He posts on GatorCountry as FloridaVol, but if you look at the avatar, you know it's the same guy.

I don’t have a problem with it. Homerism and lack of objectivity gets old on any board, Vol or otherwise.

Hey, let them have it if that's their big victory in the game. I personally find it interesting that they are scratching around trying to find something to celebrate. I don't think there is any coach in the country that wouldn't take Berry's overall play in that game over Tebow's.

I don't know... Tebow looked like crap throwing the ball but he broke some key tackles for first downs. The only help Tebow had in winning that game was Crompton.

Hey....I just that after Tebow trucked over Berry, he went to the locker room and walked on water shortly after he healed his teammates from the swine flu!!!

tebow fell forward....berry went backward.....not a TRUCK...but.......a tebow win...by a split decision.
Neither one felt great after the hit! I would still take EB everyday on my team..over anyone. He is great, quiet, but still a leader that does not throw "stuff" in your face.

if you watch the hit from the right view, you can see tebow was pushed forward after the collision by 2 UT defenders. Tebow had the momentum and still basically hit a brick wall.

It was a draw, no one got rolled up, Tebow's momentum was knocked backwards and so was Berry's, Berry's teammates carried both Tebow and Berry toward the end zone. To claim otherwise is believing what you want to and totally ignoring what your eyes tell you.

Who cares anyway, Tebow outweighs Berry by at least 25 to 35 pounds and he still could not truck him head to head, he should have been able to but he didn't.

I agree.

2 great football players, one great football collision, glad neither were hurt, both walked away...gotta love EB for delivering the blow, gotta hand it to Tebow he is one of a kind, maybe the most impressive and biggest impact player I have seen since Herschel Walker.

The hit I loved was JJ, that was a good old Jack Tatum snot bubble collision, JJ jumped up and looked for the snot bubbling out of the gators nose. This fella can play, reminds me of the way LaMarcus Thompson played special teams last season.

JJ may soften the blow of the loss of EB...at least a little.

GO VOLS

Not that I agree with the Gates, but who cares who trucked who?

At the end of the day, Berry picked him off, had a couple of TFL's on him, and made his passing game miserable all day long.

Tebow himself has admitted that Berry is the best defender in the conference.

Are the Gates that hard up for highlights from this game that they have to argue this "trucking" call? I guess so.

Ahh Max,
You caught me. I like varied view points. Your "snitching" is funny. I try to explain to my 6 year old that nobody likes a snitch, but she doesn't get it, yet. She will, but will you? There is a reason many of your own dislike you so, Sept 19.

You know Clearwater, I try to explain to my dog that no one likes a hypocrite.

You hang out at a Gator because you're sick of the homerism on Vol Nation and then you take a post that you find homer-like and put it over here to further antagonize the faithful here.

And then you'll want to come back to a Gator site and have everyone treat you nice while your throwing fuel on the fire over here.

It almost sounds like he is a gator/vol troll depending on which board he is on....lol :bad: Nobody likes a troublemaker!!!

Please remove 'Vol' from your screen name because you are clearly not a true Vol fan.

The thing I love about this hit...regardless of who might have won....is in slow motion you can actually see the energy wave travel through both of their bodies...

As an engineer, a fan of hard hits and just an overall nerd I love watching that

hahaha, i seriously had the exact same reaction.

also, don't we play some ohio team this week or something?

Berry took the wheels out from under the big truck a few plays later with a Pick! The collision looked much worse for Berry in real speed that it really was. In slow motion he stopped TT in his tracks.
