Gators are stronger and more physical

We could not tackle these guys one on one at all and the gators QB looked and played like Tebow. The bottom line is they were a better overall football team than the Vols tonight.

You are spot on. Fact is they were just better than us. You can cay "that play" or "this "player" or that "play call" or "this coach" all you want. They were just more physical and that wins in this conference. We're just not there yet talent wise.

We have maybe 1 guy on defense, AJ, that could start for Florida. Our receivers were not open all night and the catches we did have were either great throws or great catches.

I agree. We made plays early on, but Florida made BIG plays.

Just too many big plays.. Other than that, the d played well... We didn't give up many drives.. They figured out a way at halftime to shut our receievers down.. That's it.

Florida physically beat us down over the course of the game. By mid way through the 3rd quarter, our defense was done. Very disappointing to get dominated so badly.

Sad part is that Dooley will not beat Florida next season. Then again this might not be on him.

I know we are not as bad as we looked tonight but I will say the gators overall are a much more physical team than the vols and that is what made the difference in the game. I love my VOLS and can't wait until we play the dawgs. Go Vols!!!!

I disagree. I feel like we beat ourselves to a degree. that fumble on uf's first play should've been a td for us. then we had all the dropped passes. I believe its coaching. I just believe our guys arn't in the right places and arn't motivated

No, let's be honest about it. We could have won that game, and we definitely should have been in it all four quarters. We have enough talent. We flat-out gave up. When things didn't go our way, we just decided to stop playing. Florida might be tougher physically, but their real advantage is mental toughness, maturity and playing up to expectations. We're soft, we're immature and we lack heart. We don't give it our all, and we haven't for years.

We'll get beaten by equal or lesser teams all year long until we man up. The Gators saw our weakness and exploited it. Congrats to them. They came to win, and they earned it. It would be nice if we had given them a tough game.

They dominated us on the O side of the ball. Not the end of the world but tonight it was not easy to watch

I agree we had our chances to step up and take control but every time the gators are the team that did what needed to be done. We can and will improve over the course of the year. They were physical on the O side of the ball.

Brent Pease is one of the best O.C.'s in the business.. I feel fortunate he's at Florida.
