Gators are Scared!

Will the Gator defense be scary, rather than the Gators being scared, perhaps the better question?

I think the defense will be good this year.

I can't remember any Gator defense being scary..... Except.. maybe when Wright hit Kent. That was scary.

Alright, imagine you're a current UF player and all the alumni are tweeting you and telling you that you can't be the team that ends the 11-game streak against UT. In a couple of months you're traveling to Neyland and will be a 2 TD underdog and you have Spurrier, Tebow, the Pounceys, Emmitt Smith, Grossman, Wuerffel, Floyd (Sharrif), Harvin, and from cell block A-342 the man himself - Aaron Hernandez - all telling you that YOU CANNOT BE THAT TEAM THAT BREAKS THE STREAK. Try to tell me that these kids are not going to fold like a cheap lawn chair.

Continue to enjoy the off-season...

Tennessee has lost 11 straight to Florida. Until that changes, and no matter how much spin you throw from drinking too much Orange Crush, we are not in their heads. They are in ours.

Let's try something new and exciting. Let's brag about wins AFTER they happen. Doing it now just looks dumb.

I have an idea for scoring against Florida. To insure Butch does not take his foot off the pedal.

Suggestion:
Set up donation fund to Butch's favorite charity and use scoring as an incentive for the donation amount.
As follows:
For every point above 50 the fund would donate $1,000 to his charity. At 60, the amount would increase to $2,000 per point. At 70, the increase would go to $3,000 per point ... you get the idea.

In the end, Butch and Tennessee could do a lot of good things just by scoring points - All for a good cause. Not only helping needy children, but also kicking the crap out of Florida. It's a win-win plan.
There are about 1,000 reasons why this is a terrible idea

Agree, this thread is silly. When you consider that this is about the 3rd thread this week about UF, I think just the opposite is true.

There's a difference in fans and players. There seems to be more chatter from their players than normal IMO

can we please shut up about florida? go to the beach, guys, relax for another six weeks. All this yapping about how good we're going to be is lame.

Welcome to the offseason where there is literally nothing else to talk about and the recruiting front has been slow developing.

People just want to discuss something/anything they can about their team. It happens. We are all equally bored here haha.

Good morn volnation! Thanks for all the discussions so lurkers like me have something to do when we should be working! I've made a few posts but never formally introduced myself, sorry for my rudeness. I'm not skilled in the art of forums, yet. Anyway, I don't believe the gators are scared. I figure it's more to do with them being defending east champs but nobody is showing them love. Instead all the predictions are for a team they jus don't lose to. The butthurt is strong in the swamp. To be a player on the florida team that finally loses to the VOLS is too much for them as well so they're actn out like 3rd graders. Tabor is just a donkey sack with lips.

This one will be decided by Butch Jones. Can he really compete with the top SEC coaches?
I am a Butch supporter, but I gotta see it happen before I believe it.

When did Florida's 2nd year coach become one of the Top SEC coaches? This is really confusing....Won a Weak SECE and now he's one of the top coaches in the SEC. Pump the breaks a little bit, the jury is still out on JM.

When he beat all the SEC East teams and smoked the top team in the West (at the time of the game).

I hate Florida so much, that one time on a drive between Knoxville and Miami, I went out of my way to stop in Gainesville, stepped out of the car, took a piss on the ground, got back in the car and left.

Yeah, I'm sure the captains are the ones making the game plan and play calls...

Game plan has not been an issue. Taking our foot off the gas is well documented. By giving ownership to the Captains, this will help the them achieve the expectations for #120.

See you in Tampa.
