Gator fan's take on the game

I don't disagree too much but I'll add the following:

Comparing UT's loss of Hunter to UF's loss of its players isn't a fair comparison. UF didn't go into the game relying on those guys--they were able to game plan knowing those guys wouldn't be there. It's a different story when you lose your best playmaker early in the game.

While UF may need more fire than they were getting with Urbie, Muschamp's antics are going to get him in trouble. If he goes on one of those "leaving the field at halftime tirades" on the road, he, and UF, are going to get punished. Getting fired up is one thing but he took it way way over the top.

I agree with you 100% about the Hunter loss. Losing a player on the first series is much different than knowing that player won't be available.

Bringing up the loss of Janzen Jackson as some sort of excuse for losing is BS. If he's on the table then I'd argue Janoris Jenkins locks down one of side of the field, and UT is right back where they were after Hunter's injury.

then go discuss your winning douche coach where someone gives a damn. No one really cares about your amazing "Gator view"
:hi:
Just saying if you went ahead and banned Waco we'd be sitting pretty as 99gator is going to be gone Feb 2nd.

So now you're throwing in players (JJackson) who got kicked off the team? :eek:lol:

I can play that game too.

If UF isn't missing Janoris Jenkins for being an idiot, Jeremy Brown and Jordan Reed to injury...in addition to dropping at least 4 INTs...the final score would have likely been much worse.

Ok, we can play that too...if we would've wrapped ur 165lb rb up everytime we hit him in the backfield, we win.

Why are you Gator fans here trying to justify a silly notion that you should have won by more? You got the victory, is that not enough?

no one in America loves you or your poorly written, excuse laden post. You add nothing to any discussion on VN

This might be the meanest, most un-Christian thing anyone has ever said to me on this board.

All I want to do is be loved.

Yeah i hear you. It's like they want to degrade Tennessee and get their jollies off doing it. Glad i'm not a mod, just saying. Probably wouldn't be one very long but this place would have less trolls while i were.

You hide behind your christian talk but you fool absolutely no one with a brain. You're a pathetic gator troll. Nothing more, nothing less. But if you truly want to be liked here then I suggest you leave, that will be the only way we like you.

I doubt it.

Janoris Jenkins wasn't the strength of your defense... your front-7 was/is. Jackson was the strength of our defense and therefore held a much heavier weight in regards to defensive gameplanning. Plus, that took our best corner and marginalized him by making him be a FS. That would be the same as if Florida had to convert Elam to CB (and be an average CB instead of a good FS) in order to compensate.

You lost a good CB and that's it. We lost an excellent FS and a good CB due to the required position change. The situation isn't equatable.

The Florida guys on here are only posting this crap because deep down inside they KNOW that the game would be different, no matter how many interceptions were dropped, etc. They know it. Hunter is a game changer. The same way Harvin was. Hunter IS Tennessee's offense. I don't know how somebody in their right mind can say that not having Hunter in the game DID NOT change the landscape of the game. It's ridiculous. Bray had the TE and Rogers to throw to, and Rogers was held/double teamed the rest of the game. If Hunter is in there, that does not happen. Everyone knows that.

I will give UF a couple interceptions if they give us 10 more pass interference's and take away Rainey's screen TD and blocked punt.

Muschamp is a douche, period. Urban Meyer is a crying, arrogant person. Great coaches, but that doesn't mean that they can't be arrogant douches.

The thing that still is laughable to me is that Florida fans come on here trying to paint some picture that UF has it worse, or even on the same level as Tennessee when it comes to youth and the depth chart. That right there shows that most UF fans are wearing the rosy glasses. Need to take those off guys and be real, if only for a second. I know it's hard.

I look forward to the UF fans' "witty" reply.

I'm sure there will be several Sundays this year where you are making plenty of excuses for why your team lost on Saturday. You have the talent and the depth to win the whole darn thing, but you won't. Too many glaring issues.

Here's one glaring statistic for you to digest.

UF total yards of offense 347
Montana total yards of offense 346
Cincy total yards of offense 396

Enjoy it while it lasts, because October is just around the corner. Unless something changes on your offense, you are looking 0 for October. I will be smiling the entire time.

Then Nov12 and Nov26 come looming. 6-6 this year? A very real possibility.

score 33-23 Hunter=14 points every game i would tell gator fans to do the math but it might be to complex for them....so in lamens terms we would have won PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!!

So what does that say that UT lost to a 6-6 Gator team, which would make them the worst Gator team in 30 years?
