Gator fan's take on the game

Hunter changed the game, no question.

Bottom line..............you have to adjust. Rainey missed the UT game last year and we adjusted accordingly. It happens..........it sucks, but it happens.

If hunter had gotten hurt in the game last week and we had a week to plan without him then yeah, adjusting might have been that simple, but when your best receiver goes down the 4th play of a game and you have to scratch 20 of your offensive plays designed for him, it isn't that easy to adjust. Like I say, we will never know if UT could have won the game with him in there, but he easily can account for a couple TD's a game, not to mention Rogers would have been much more productive with him in there as well.

Surprised we had the most penalities on our team in 15 years, dropped 5 picks, and still won by double-digits. if we had anyone worth a darn on defense who could catch, the game would have been a blowout.

you do realize there is a reason they are defensive backs right?

So now you're throwing in players (JJackson) who got kicked off the team? :eek:lol:

I can play that game too.

If UF isn't missing Janoris Jenkins for being an idiot, Jeremy Brown and Jordan Reed to injury...in addition to dropping at least 4 INTs...the final score would have likely been much worse.

Even so, that would make 3 key starters missing, not one! Dropping INT's are your own fault. Bad calls are not! I didnt mention things like missing FG's and the blocked punt, they are our own fault. Now, you see how it works!

Would you have rather won with a "douche" coach or are you a Vandy fan who claims to be "superior" in attitude and actions?

Give me the win every day of the weeka dn twice on Sundays.

Everyone would rather have the douche. I was really backing CLK...I knew he was a douche, but he was our douche.

This just proves that opposing fans will not see the loss of Hunter as the big deal it really is. The two wide outs opened what little else we had on offense, period. Hunter was the more proven, more talented of the two.

Wonder when these guys will realize. Most around here don't give a rats ass about a Gator's view of the game, thoughts or what he had for breakfast.

Why are there so many damn Florida fans on a Tennessee Vols site?
Gator boards suck that much I guess

my point is that UF fans have absolutely no reason to ever knock a guy like Kiffin again. Enjoy your new coach and I am very glad to say he accurately represents every gator fan I've met.

Bless your heart...........did you just compare Lane Kiffin to Muschamp?

Oh dear.

I don't disagree too much but I'll add the following:

Comparing UT's loss of Hunter to UF's loss of its players isn't a fair comparison. UF didn't go into the game relying on those guys--they were able to game plan knowing those guys wouldn't be there. It's a different story when you lose your best playmaker early in the game.

While UF may need more fire than they were getting with Urbie, Muschamp's antics are going to get him in trouble. If he goes on one of those "leaving the field at halftime tirades" on the road, he, and UF, are going to get punished. Getting fired up is one thing but he took it way way over the top.

Imagine if Rainey was injured instead of Hunter.

This.

All that nonsense about also not being full strength is beyond stupid. No Rainey, and a healthy Hunter, and it is a completely different game all together. There probably would have been twice the number of PI and holding penalties that were called.

UF Class of 1990

Nice try.....
I never said bandwagon Lawrence. Guy came in after me and inserted that. Your actually one of the few i can stand. I meant good luck and that's all i originally said. Go back and weed through those posts. I got respect for the Gators, but i don't have to like them now or ever.:hi:

Someone told him jorts were being banned in the stadium. He had to do something.

IMHO...Kiffin and Muschamp would compare if the Texas job openned up and Mucshcamp left with 1 or 2 weeks left til signing day. Then you would truly know what a douche is.

What does last year have to do with anything?

Did Waco suggest that UF wins without Rainey last ye....oh wait, we did win without Rainey last year.

Good job bro.

Just sayin, don't mention UF suspended players and then laugh at someone for mentioning a dismissed player for UT.

Was it 4 or 5 missed INTs by the way?

I'm sorry, but us losing Hunter was about the equivalent to UF losing Rainey.... He literally accounted for about half of our production on offense this season.

Plus, as someone else mentioned, we are without our best linebacker, our most experienced DE, and the potential all American free safety that we went into camp with.

Hunters injury hurt our ability, and zapped our spirits for one whole quarter.

You say if you could catch ect ect..... It would be a blowout. Well I say if we keep hunter and his 150 yards per game we win. We can play the if game all day.
