I believe that all the gator TROLLS have been "challenging" us to post bad experiences from the game.
This would fit the bill.

when can delusional fans just understand it's a simple game, and a game is never a reason to assault another person ever.

Wow, that's horrible. I'd have done the same thing (helping him up and making sure he was ok that is). Every fan base has idiots like these, and I can only say I am sorry from Gator Nation that this even happened. Diana is right. Southern hospitality should take precedence over football.

I hope to god if that ever happens in Knoxville to a visiting fan, the offending party gets a good beating from other UT fans.

Just Absolutely no excuse for this type of action. No fan, Team or anyone else diserves this type of treatment.:frown:

Talk about a small world....I used to work for Diana's husband Rusty, who I believe still is a Sales VP for AT&T in Orlando. He used to work in Knoxville and Nashville, where his son was raised. Great kid.

If Diana says it happened, it happened.

Not surprising. I lived in Gainesville for 5 years and there is definitely a totally different mindset down there. Ego over hospitality. Too much of the spring water I guess.

Imagine what they would have done had Florida lost. I don't get this. I almost don't believe the story. He didn't do anything to provoke them? Or they provoked him and he talked back? Nothing?

If you knew him, why did you punch him? :birgits_giggle:

That makes me sick. Not just because it's florida, but because anybody would act like that over which team you pull for.

I'm sure UF doesn't have the market cornered on this type of behaviour. Unfortunate as it was, that guy wasn't the first nor will he be the last. Security at these games is horrible. This is the type of thing you see when people drink too much at games.

The whole buildup to the game brought on crap like this...

That's just my opinion, but I think the six months of media bating didn't help matters.

From what I know about Rusty and Diana's kid (I keep calling him a kid because that's how I remember him), he's not one I would describe as a hellraiser.

I know an attorney that does nothing but stay on our board all day. Maybe he would bring suit for ya against the media.
