Copied this from a forum on swampgas. I wonder if they understand irony on that site.

"He could probably feel how badly the SEC (based in ALA) was going to cheat us, and was already disappointed at the Gator nation for not only letting them get away with it, but also making excuses for their dirty tactics.... He tried to fight for his players, to give them a fair chance, and we let him get fined for it!... We let Slive and the SEC Alabama machine not give us a fair chance to win... And we've caved, and given them the right to do it to us every year... I feel sick myself so I can imagine how our coach feels... I mean, can we honestly ask kids to come to UF, and give their hearts for us and our school, knowing the only fair chance they'll ever get to win is to be so much better than Alabama that it's impossible for the refs to steal the game? Whether we would have won or not we will never know... But to let Ala be given such an unfair advantage is unconscionable, and truthfully, disgusting.......

"Money doesn't talk, it swears, obscenities all"

God bless all the Gator players that we let down...... "

Eh. Every time a team loses a game, somebody is going to blame the officials, even if their team loses by 100. Typical.

now i know where tebow gets his crying from. THe game wasn't even close. If a few bad calls cost you a 7-10 point game you have a gripe. When you get dominated, take your loss like a man and move on

Those are some really strong referees. They spent the entire night blowing Florida off the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Florida fans sure wasn't crying during the regular season when they got all that zebra love. I watched some of the game but knew I couldn't get into it because both couldn't lose. I don't know what's worse than seeing Tebows veins pop out of his neck when he's happy or Mt Cody and his 600 lbs gut jumping up and down in happiness. Sickening.

Gotta blame that whooping on something I guess. It's time Gator fans nut up and tell ourselves, "We just got smoked, plain and simple." Got to hand it to Bama, outplayed us in every aspect of the game.

After the UF/Arkansas game, these gator fans don't have a leg to stand on.

1 idiot, I assure you. Everywhere I've been, the first notion that the referees contributed ANYTHING to that loss was immediately shot down. I think most Gator fans realize the truth -- we were beat up and down the field. If every call had went against Bama we still would've loss.

There may be some that are blaming the refs, but the vast majority are giving props to Bama for a great game.

Florida got beat, and the refs had nothing to do with it. End of story.

Guess the refs got into Tebow's face when he threw the interception into the endzone. Man o man.

The OP is trying to put another team's fanbase in the barrel for complaining about the officiating because their fanbase and coach frequently complain about the officiating. :hi:

I think you missed the point entirely. Florida fans were telling the other schools they were being ridiculous for believing bad calls were being made that might perhaps be some cooking on the refs part to get the championship match up that was desired.

The irony is that apparently some fans were not happy with the officiating and think Florida got jobbed by Bama sympathizers.

There were some terrible calls made this year, Florida benefited from some of those calls but there is no possible way to blame that loss on officials, they were whooped by the end of the first quarter.

No, the OP just thinks that it is funny that after a season of calls going the gator's way that they are complaining about the officiating.

One fans opinion can not count for the majority of the fanbase though. I get the irony part also, I remember the conspiracy theory.
