Rainey was a fool to leave such an easy paper trail, but again, he's never been much in the way of a deep thinker.

This is correct. I think we all know that Coach Meyer won't be deciding this one. The decision regarding the suspension will be up to Rainey. (reference Spikes eye gouging)

Frankly, the only thing UT fans should concern themselves with is what his absence may or may not mean to the match ups on Saturday. The way that Meyer handles this situation is none of our business.

This is all a big misunderstanding.

He meant to say "time to dine" to tell her he was going to grab food after he left her apartment.

Once they get Rainey's cellphone, I'm sure they'll discover that the immediately preceding text message read, "A time to live and," and the following two text messages read, "A time to plant and," and "A time to uproot." This is Biblical, folks. It's right there in Ecclesiastes.

That or he was quoting The Byrds who were covering Pete Seeger who was paraphrasing the Bible.

Rainey was arrested for aggravated stalking of some woman he has been seeing on and off for a while. Apparently he sent her a text reading "time to die". I'm guessing he will miss our game or will Meyer shorten the punishment?

That's good that he will not be playing. He's a good slot receiver. Maybe demps will get suspended for something too.

I doubt Rainey will play. Meyer is very much against abusing women. Jamar Hornsby was kicked off the team for showing his girl the pimp hand. I hope he is suspended for a few games to be honest. I don't appreciate any form of abuse to women.

Florida fans - If more comes out about this and warrants it, don't you think Urban needs to boot a high profile player like this for at the minimum PR. He is on the quick track to take the Fulmer cup from Richt.

How could we have that argument with you? Everybody knows Meyer only recruits the "top 1 percent of 1 percent," right? Nothing but the best and the brightest down in Gainesville, as Urban promised.
