Saw on the news where an economist said it would be back at $100 dollars a barrell by the end of the year to make up for horrible economy. Anyone who knows about this kind of thing think this will happen.

When gas was over 3 bucks as a gallon everywhere I made some kind of post saying when gas gets back under 2 a gallon etc etc. I got a reply from some volnation regular about how I was a moron to think gas would ever be 2 bucks a gallon again. At the time I started to write it down for a future gloat I'dve enjoyed today, but was just to lazy. I tried searching today but could'nt find it of course, now that gas is a lil cheaper. We may see 3 a gallon again soon as things tend to get worse b4 they get better, so just be tough and try not to grumble. You know in hindsight you do just that but grumble anyway in tough times and wish you hadnt later. I myself was never an Obama man but now that he is the President I encourage all to pray for him. You and all that you love are in his hands, at least to an extent so pray for his wisdom, and strength in the hope that we'll see shinin times again in the beloved USA. My little Andy Rooney moment.

Paid $1.92 in Cookeville today.

To highlight how little I've driven lately, the last three times I have filled up I have paid, in order, $3.39, $2.39, and $1.92 today.

And at the time, I thought the $3.39 was a steal.

I knew I saw a thread on gas.

Just paid $1.56 a gallon for gas!!!! My car was on EMPTY and I filled up for less than $30!! That was in Ooltewah. In Harrison it's still $1.79. How stupid is that.

$1.59 a gallon in Orange Mound (Lamar and Kimball) and $2.00 for the guy in front of the store asking for some Colt 45.

It was nice driving so much over the holiday weekend to be filling up at 1.55 or so a gallon.
